  1. We have one great year last year because of Beard after 10 years in the wilderness. Now we’re in year 1 of the new wilderness under Fraudney Terry. When will the pain end
  2. We absolutely were in the top 10 in defense before Beard left. When Terry took over, we fell to around 100. We also aren’t scoring in the 80s on offense when our guards are Abmas, Hunter, Horton, and Weaver.
  3. People keep talking about missing two big men. College basketball is guard dependent, and we don't have good guards or good depth. I don't see how Disu or Shedrick overcome those problems unless we get multiple guards to make shots consistently.
  4. I’ll agree to disagree. We don’t look good and have no identity. That’s the case so far even if we’re looking ahead.
  5. Say what you want about their 3 point shooting, but from my vantage point in the Garden, we really aren’t outplaying them so far. Terry is taking no time to turn us into a bunch of bums again
  6. I hate Sarkisian. What an absolute moron.
  7. We don’t even try to put our foot on the gas with the lead. Everything is so nonchalant until the last moment when we’re forced to respond.
  8. Attitude reflect leadership, coach.
  9. 17 turnovers and 51 points given up in about 30 minutes. Not a good effort against an awful team.
  10. rape also lost to UH. 1-6 at home. I guess that dear old Baylor Line didn't help them
  11. Congrats, brother! I got my port out a week ago. Apparently the downside of being young was having new tissue growing all over the port and securing it really tightly in there. They had to take some sort of blunt tool to dig it out., giving me a really big bruise. I hope we're done for good!
  12. Jaylan Ford seemed to take terrible angles whenever Dillon Gabriel scrambled. Was that on him having a bad game, or was he just put in a really bad spot? From my point of view, I thought he played his worst game in multiple years.

    Outcoached

I knew we were in trouble when OU had their player lay down and fake an injury with 2:30 to go. When out of rhythm, we either call an obvious draw or get a penalty immediately after. Sark went Bill O'Brien, wasted a timeout playing games on 4th, and kicked a field goal. Then Coach K decides to play soft zone, which got us killed at the end of the first half and cost us the game at the end. Some coaching mistakes are obvious in hindsight, but those simply should never have happened multiple times.
  14. 1-3 in the red zone with two turnovers?
  15. I recommend parking at Faith Cumberland Presbyterian on Al Lipscomb Way
  16. Czech Stop for the fruit filling (koláče) Slovacek’s for meat/sausage (klobásníky)
  17. Texas matches up favorably with OU. Our line can get pressure on Gabriel, especially since I don’t think they’ll run it well. If I wanted to poke one major hole in the analytics favoring OU, it’s how they’re overrating Gabriel. His YPA is great so far, but I’m not a believer because he hasn’t done it with a defense putting him in conflict. I also wasn’t a believer in KU’s extremely high third down efficiency, and we saw how that went last week. Schematically, PK knows how to stop a modified Briles offense and has proven it over and over. He can run some cover 2 with tight corners but softer safeties to prevent them from going over the top. He can bring pressure up the middle or confuse the OL with Hill as a free rusher. Ewers is great in big time games because he doesn’t make a lot of costly turnovers and trusts his playmakers. I think we’ll be able to run the ball well, but if OU sells out to stop it, Quinn will cook. Texas has talent and depth all over the field; while OU has more talent than last season, it’s not comparable to Texas. Give me the Horns 34-24.
  18. Feels like we play to our opponents by not spreading the field more in the red zone on offense
  19. I’ve been hard on Ewers, but his footwork is showing signs of improvement. You can see it when he hits the deep balls – stands in the pocket calmly, moves forward, and then launches a bomb
  20. I spent hundreds of dollars and suffered through two canceled flights to be at the game yesterday. My body is tired; my voice is hoarse; my horns are up. But sure, I’ll own my throwaway score prediction @BurntOrange&White
