  1. Yup. Most of his wireless interviews were classic. As a tier 1 host he is just plain lazy. You would think if it’s on the run sheet he would at least do some research. It’s maddening.

  3. They cut her off. She obviously was going to say she would bring every gun loaded and ready…for show and tell on Monday.

    RIP Meat Loaf

Not a big ML fan either but it is a pretty cool album. They were lucky to find TR. Nobody else would do it. I think he ended up funding most of it. Somebody else might have eventually done it, but he may have been the only one who could put the material together in a manner that would yield such a huge hit.

I thought Jim Steinman was the composer and TR was the producer.
  6. He was so fucking good in “Baskets”

    Hot patootie, bless his soul
  8. Figured a rested Suns team would spank the Mavs tonight. Pretty impressed they have played so tough.
  9. Used to watch them at Club Dada shortly after Edie joined them. They were more of a percussion heavy jam band than a pop band. Kenny Withrow is a very good guitarist and a Jerry Garcia fan. This was when Dada was doing Grateful Dead jam sessions every Sat. afternoon. His solo on that song is very tasty. Not a lot of pop songs had cool guitar solos at the time. Boom! They got popular, had to fire Brandon Aly and go on tour. Never the same after that. I saw their final Dallas show at Bronco Bowl. They were very good. Blue Rodeo opened and were so good that I’m still a fan.
  10. Yeah, their FB page lists them as a “business”. I think Bruce Carter, the dude who founded “Black Men For Bernie” then went MAGA is the owner.
  11. Not sure who these people are. Been running around TX/OK for about a month with a big motorhome and a big trailer. At least they are taking the show to Florida soon.
  12. Belongs to a neighbor. GT6

  14. Had 2 Spits and a TR3A. Bought a TR3 that had been sitting under a tarp in a dudes backyard in Pilot Point. Trailered it home, put a new battery in it, gassed it up and drove to school and work for a few years before I moved. Never had a top just a tonneau cover. If it rained I would just duck down behind the windshield and drive fast. The wife totaled one of the Spits on I35 in Denton. Got sideswiped, did a 360, a 180 and ended up against the guardrail. Bought it back from the insurance and built a Spit6. Spitfire with a GT 6 motor, trans and bonnet.
  15. Only things left from my Triumph days.
  16. Obviously Triumphs were far superior to MGs. [emoji6]
  17. Prince of Darkness? Heard all the jokes but never had any real issues with the 4 Triumphs we owned.
  18. That car is a 64 TR4 with a 5.0 HO Ford motor. Seller claims Rootes/Shelby should have used that platform instead of the Sunbeam.
