Texas A&M Recruiting 2025: The Land of Melk & No Money
RomaVicta replied to texifornia's topic in 🤫$9.95🤫
William! Looch, the Fightin' Texas Aggie who wants to fight you! Bringing the insight. Everybody knows you only take an off week before playing a cupcake because...well because. All those other idiot teams have off weeks before big games. Stupid. The guys barely know how to buckle their chinstraps or where to line up after a break like that. Give those poor Aggies a break! Anybody have a clue as to who he's talking to here? I like that he's not afraid to take a bold stand where others cower: Somewhere there is a man standing tall in a parking lot in College Station. He knows things. He's smart not dumb like everybody says. What is? What are you talking about? Texas is one of the best 12 teams in the country, you say. Then you toss in resume after saying this above: You're looking at numbers, you're not looking at numbers, common sense should prevail, no dumbasses! What about the resume? Still, they won a battle they never fought: Arch could have transferred there.- 2541 replies

I'm not sure what to make of your post about me. If the wolves are the billionaire class, I suppose it's apt. The lamb should be portrayed voting for the wolves. If I were present, I'd be on a porch watching this play out and claiming the whole thing is the hand of Darwin.

...rather than preserve democracy. Sorta like choosing readily available hamburgers over the lives of your grandchildren. Or lies over truth.

It seems like daily there's a new chart or graph that I have no hope of interpretting. Thanks for the summary at the bottom. [okay, I get it now. Thanks.] -
1983, too.

Yep. The hostility was real. Some stations in Arkansas wouldn't sell gas to people with Texas plates on their cars. I'm glad it's changed to something a little more garden variety.

I don't get the pleasure a fan like you gets out of a season. You're not alone in your attitude. I'm not scolding you for lack of school spirit; I'm just truly mystified about the difference in which we experience a season. I also don't want to go "a win is win. E'erbody be happy." I hated the shit fights with lousy teams we always ended up in with Strong and Herman. How many times can a 21-point lead turn into a white-knuckler? Fuck! We're 9-1 and ranked in the top five. It's a weird year in college football because the season is almost over and it's difficult to tell how good anybody really is. That includes us. I think it's a great thing for the first season with a 12 team playoff. I'm having fun. Maybe I'm a low-expectation motherfucker (thanks, Chris Rock). You seem like someone who could manage to be disappointed in a championship team that is less than perfect. Sounds miserable to me, but there's all sorts of things about the humans that are mysterious. Hook 'Em!

I think the only thing lacking is his long ball. That's important, but doesn't change how well he leads receivers and finds the right receiver. The drops killed some of our possessions. Count me among the happy for coming away with a win. I don't care about covering or any betting shit. I think Arkansas is the most fanatical effort we face all season when we play there. I say that fully aware of the OU game. I'm glad the game is back. I saw a lot of good Texas Arkansas games back with Akers and Holtz. The 1969 game is one of the first games I watched on TV and knew what was going on. The Aggies have been a joke most of my life. Anyways, feeling good about the win after the third quarter scare.

It's like their facilities obsession. In this case, it's not show up, wear maroon, be loud; it's we're the loudest stadium in the history of loud. Everything is a fucking death march to them. The object isn't really to cheer on your team and have funs. For them, it's yell constantly by command. Compare a shot of their crowd with those at any other school. Their obsession with being loud leads to shit like this. Everybody else looks like they're having fun even if they're serious about the game. The Aggies never look that way. Weirdos. It's a masterpiece. It's hilarious that the author got it posted before they could post their own fake praise. A&M is the SEC grind. Prepare to be ground.

The most popular player on any team is the unsigned high school QB who everyone one believes may arrive and take over on day one. So much for Wiggy's Heisman trophy. -
The best thing I heard on NPR yesterday was Bernie Sanders making the same point you are. I think it's likely valid for accounting for some of the red shift to give Trump a majority. Sanders' central point was that Trump, no matter how crazy and dishonest, does present a vision where the problem is illegals and how he will handle it. The Dems do not choose to pick a cause for what is wrong: the unfair economy and the tyranny (my word) of the billionaire class. It was a great 30 minutes. I'm not a Bernie Bro, but I'm impressed. However, I don't see how you can quote me and suggest that the bullet list I make somehow represents correct perceptions. The embraced lies of Donald Trump are the whole of his success. They're also the hole we are sliding down with an electorate whose majority doesn't mind it.
-
Yea. The only analysis I hear is on NPR when I'm driving. It's all old paradigm that's been quoted here. No exploration of powerful new factors: Christian Nationalism Xenophobia/Racial intolerance Character of candidate and what it says about electorate Lies being believed such as The absurdity of children getting sex change operations at school. Haitians eating pets. The poor shape of the economy. The last one is probably the most profound issue. There is no good faith on one side. Analysts are content to discuss the perception of the electorate without getting into it being profoundly incorrect and why. I just smirk and shake my head these days. I'm emotionally detached.

I saw this on the old Saturday Night at the Movies when I was a boy. Loved the movie. This scene was a genius moment. Those movies were usually a big deal. I saw Hud and The Hustler, too. Thanks.

Also created a roaming criminal class. You're free! You're without options to live! Don't let us catch you on the street! And then blame them for the results. The racism used to rationalize enslaving people is tranferable to persecution. Ain't no problem with the white man. -

I hadn't heard this story. I looked up her name. Found this from Politico: If she was assaulted or says she was, investigate all you want. If Biden assaulted her, he's a piece of shit and should pay for it. I don't find the story credible, but I won't stand in the way of an investigation. There is a history of GOPs digging up women to make rape charges that are pretty iffy. Of course, Balcones story about what "some believe" about the call to Larry King is extremely convincing. -

Sad. Your whole view of government is a partisan sophistry scorecard. "How can I turn any event into a commentary on the ebil libs." Your determination to make everything about political party says more about you than anyone else. Your entire self-worth is tied to the success of a piece-of-shit human named Donald Trump who wears your jersey. Just win, baby! I guess it's easier than thinking or maintaining any sort of a moral code. Your candidate is you. Your president-elect is you. Like him, you are shameless thus proud of being deplorable so long as you come out on top.- 2685 replies

Do we know who the press secretary is to be? There's your job for Hulk Hogan. Also, why no Sarah Huckabee? -
Yay! We gave the moral high ground to Turkey on an issue of possible genocide! I don't like the application of the word "genocide," so I'll stick to calling it a slaughter. There's small solace in knowing the Dem administration will be handing the baton off to whatever clown Trump has as Secretary of State. Oh well.

Concurrence rather than coincidence. Conspiracy rather than accountability: The two percenters chime in: Good question followed by... ...the birth of an Aggie fact. Who knows what to make of the above? It's not a conspiracy. It is a conspiracy. It's pro wrestling. Ah, sanity makes another appearance. Nice. Uh oh. You see it's about our conference schedule! The SEC, the grind that isn't. Right off the bat, our first SEC game was Miss. State. I mean, can you imagine? It's obvious why that's a horrible thing, so genius here will just move on to... OU is in the SEC but it kind of isn't as "most will agree." It's its own thing. We all get that, right? Moving on. Finally, we get Georgia (at home!) and shit the bed. We lost by two scores to a top five team while shitting the bed. Far worse than any A&M loss. I'm guessing this guy would say that S. Car doesn't count because it was on the road. Most would agree, of course. Then comes the clencher. We didn't play a road SEC game (OU in Dallas is its own thing, recall!) until Oc-to-ber 27. Hello?! I mean, come on! Latest SEC road game e-VER. In case that's too confusing, the genius repeats it lest we fail to soar with him in the intellectual heights delineating the outrage. Most will agree why this is an outrage. It's obvious. C'mon! Big climax: That leaves Arkansas as one of our toughest (presumably road?) games. I mean, who else do we play after Georgia? No one else stands in the way of the Sankey-Sip conspiracy train racing to the SEC championship game. What's that? Big anti-climax: Oh yea, A&M is a road game. Right up there with Georgia according to the genius. Most will agree and nod their heads as to why this fact was soft pedaled at the end. It's, of course, beyond me. This guy gets it: The guys who count rise games actually chose OU for Texas. As a rise game! And we got vs day and Ca do as well. Criminal! Lastly, fearless on every front Aggie finds a new front for fear:
