  1. I gotta say, I loved the old school attempt to get off the field without help. Toughness.
  2. Yeah, that would have solved all our problems. The talk about inflation, egg prices, Dems being too snooty, and shit is just the froth on the surface of the cesspool.
  3. Back in the old paradigm, this may have had some weight. No more, I'm sorry to say. There is absolutely no evidence that actual policies and policy results matter much in America. When's the last time you won a point with a MAGA by stating an obvious fact? The active vote and shameful acquiesence of non-voters shouts who the party of the people is. The choice could not have been clearer. Stop blaming the Dems who represent what we wish was true about this country. There is no adjustment to the message or even choice of candidate that can matter much. People don't want anything that reeks of humanity or tolerance or citizen teamwork. The vote and failure to vote prove this. The new paradigm is war. Those who love America and hate everything else versus the rational people. The rational people got slaughtered. I don't see a road that civilizes MAGAs to understand liberal democracy or the importance of unity among similar nations. The traitors are in charge.
  4. It's so desperate. We hate tu, everybody must hate tu! Even all of Texas outside of Asstin. Incompetents can't even get the day right.
  5. Everything they do looks completely joyless. Let's look manly mean when we play music and march. They strive to be the loudest stadium, so their fans always look unhappy and very serious in the effort of making noise. It's very important to be a Texas A&M Aggie.
  6. Why only for "illegal aliens?" Is rape or murder at their hands worse than those by American grade killers and rapists? Is there a rape and murder gap between America and foreign killers and rapists? It's hard to believe, but we are the best at everything. We cannot allow a rape and murder gap! Who am I kidding. Nobody beats America at murder and rape. Nobody! Oh, well.
  7. His meter and alliteration leave much to be desired, but I think we can all agree his onomatopoeia is exquisite.
  8. You assume that we walk the party-line jersey color in lockstep as you do. Every time a Dem is accused of something, you see all of us supporting an investigation and letting law enforcement go where it will. We got rid of a senator for just having an inappropriate picture and a few stories of him groping women's buttocks. You elect a rapist.
  9. 2/3 of your choices are. Did these people dominate the investigation? Is their anyone pure enough to investigate lilly-white Gaetz in your opinion? Your the classic amateur operative sacrificing your personal integrity to try to help the GOP jersey get closer to the goal line. Third rate sophistry where any answer is a valid answer so long as you can avoid good faith is the tell. You're a miserable human being. Enjoy the country you're destroying. Or fall out of a window.
  10. He's not. He's standing on a stack of turtles. Ohio State is raking boys in like the Finns in a forest raking leaves. Is Day the kind of culture guy that can get them all on the same page? Looks like the Deion experiment in Colorado.
  11. That's a lie! Black people can't write! This post is a wow on so many levels. What disqualifies the persons you name? Is it just a projection of what GOPs do with power? Or is it the tired and stupid shit about Dems can't investigate Dems because they wouldn't harm a fellow Dem while Dems investigating GOPs is unfair? Only GOPs can be trusted to investigate and persecute Dems or whitewash pieces of shit like Gaetz. And you.
  12. ETA Regarding Singleton: I thought the word was that he didn't mesh well when he visited. I got the impression that the cooling was mutual.
  13. I couldn't find just the right way to say that. Exactly!
  14. Aggies should have got their licks in when they could. If this game is scheduled for daytime, A&M will protest. But we had to play there at night.
  15. Money is all that matters, otherwise everybody would be an Aggie. Texas is only good because of spending money on recruits. Teams are only good because they spend money on recruits. Let's spend all the money we can on top recruits to succeed just like we did with the '22 class that was a disaster. Yea, those trophys don't exist and you wouldn't win them if they did. You went 8-4. That's an El Niño year for you. Here's some of that great objectivity: [ETA: I got this wrong. It's still pretty stupid, though.]
  16. I feel like your wife wondering why she married such an intransigent moron.
  17. Well, here are the dear old Texas Aggies inventing repression: And ending with a nice bit of racism. DEI is the new N-word for some, I believe.
  18. You should really read an entire post before responding to it. Had you done so, you'd see that I ended up not being livid. Early in the game, it looked like it might be a horse race of scoring. I was okay with it. And there is the whole Auburn thing, another thing I mention in the post you didn't bother to read.
  19. Is it worth the times other teams have bounced back after a stop like that? I don't know about that. It certainly doesn't work every time. Here is our ranking on fourth down conversion success: They weren't all less than a yard, but they're usually pretty short distances. The percentage of Auburn making the kick is somewhat better. The impact of the kick would have been about the same as a touchdown. I still think Auburn's strange unreliability was a big part of the decision. Of course, I'm a football idiot, so who knows. I certainly don't share your certainty.
  20. I was livid when Sark chose to go for it. It gives the other side a chance for celebration and rejuvenation. The UH game is the perfect example. There are, of course, other examples in Sark's tenure and Herman's. I think the decision this time is mitigated by the poor performance of Auburn. That mitigates the decision, but does not fully justify it. Sometimes, I think head coaches get too tied up in the math of the score. Going for it yesterday may have been the best chance to score, but the risk was the victory the other team may get when they are on the ropes. Missing a field goal is a relief to the other side rather than a victory. I still think Sark should have kicked, but this decision wasn't as stupid as other times. I still think Sark is learning. He went with the running game yesterday. He blamed himself for not doing so more often in the past. I admire cold self-assessment in anyone. It's not easy when the world is celebrating your success. I really like our coach.
  21. I haven't read much about this stuff since the election, only just enough to get a FAFO chuckle out of what the US electorate announced they were good with. A thought does occur to me. Is it possible that Mush has bought all of Trump's debt that was available, legal and nefarious? Might this make Musk co-owner of Trump with Vlad? Trump hates sharing a stage. If Elon persists in crowding him, there will have to be a reason for it.
  22. Boebert looks like quite the intellectual in spectacles. America is in good hands!
  23. I doubt anyone will meet my rate.
