  1. So tough for anybody else to win the regular season conference with the kind of bullshit that happens in that building.
  2. Good game in Lawrence today. TCU up by 2 with a minute left. TCU looks pretty darn good.
  3. Strongly disagree. We were obviously the better team in the 2001 game and gift wrapped it for Colorado by repeatedly tripping over our own dicks. Last night, we lost to a great team with an unbelievable quarterback. Does it hurt and suck that we didn't get that last score? Yes. Would it have been awesome to play for it all in Houston? Yes. But frankly, Washington outplayed us for the large majority of the game and deserved to win. Misery is not something I will ever associate with last night's game - that is reserved for 2001 Colorado, Colt getting hurt against Bama, etc.
  4. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ß In German orthography, the letter ß, called Eszett (IPA: [ɛsˈtsɛt]) or scharfes S (IPA: [ˌʃaʁfəs ˈʔɛs], "sharp S"), represents the /s/ phoneme in Standard German when following long vowels and diphthongs. The letter-name Eszett combines the names of the letters of ⟨s⟩ (Es) and ⟨z⟩ (Zett) in German. The character's Unicode names in English are sharp s[1] and eszett.[1] The Eszett letter is used only in German, and can be typographically replaced with the double-s digraph ⟨ss⟩, if the ß-character is unavailable. In the 20th century, the ß-character was replaced with ss in the spelling of Swiss Standard German (Switzerland and Liechtenstein), while remaining Standard German spelling in other varieties of the German language.[2]
  5. Not unexpected but didn’t make the cut…bummer.
  6. Posted this in volleyball but doing it again here…one of my buddies in Tampa saw Nebraska’s social media team working on national champions content before the match. Sorry, losers!
  7. Buddy of mine in Tampa for the final saw the Nebraska social media team making their national championship content this morning. Let’s send this to the trash folder.
  8. Can somebody explain to me the thought process behind our ridiculously shitty non conference schedule? The wins we have over all these garbage teams will do nothing in terms of tourney resume/seeding, and it puts an incredible amount of pressure in conference play to rack up quality wins (which we will have 0 of by the end of the calendar year).
  9. I posted in the game thread, but Disu was wearing his uniform and doing pregame warmups with the team in our last game - first time I had seen that this season. So this tracks.
  10. Disu is wearing his jersey and was doing pregame warmups. I think that is the first time I have seen that this season.
  11. That is crazy. I guess it is a good time to know the right people - doesn’t sound like much was allocated for LHF.
  12. I’m around 6100 and got rejected

  14. The email from them on 11/30 is literally titled "Boost Your Spot in Line for Texas Football Bowl Game Tickets!"
  15. Agreed, I just think it is offering a bit of false hope when you are dangling the bowl game language, when people have no idea what it takes to actually be in that spot.
  16. I think the most annoying thing was the emails from the athletic department to "boost your spot in line" for bowl game tickets by donating more to LHF without giving any estimate of what that spot needs to be to get tickets. I am ranked about 6,200 so am anticipating not being successful.
  17. I have a couple tickets to the UConn game I can’t use - if anybody wants them for free, shoot me a PM
  18. Anybody have a streaming link? I’m in Mexico and YouTubeTV + VPN isn’t working.
  19. I caught a t-shirt from the mighty fine Gatling gun tonight….gonna proudly put that size small bad boy on my grown ass man body
  20. A bit off topic here, but I was in an Austrian mountain town this summer where they filmed some of Spectre. They had a cool museum/experience at the top of the mountain and some badass props from all the Bond movies. If you ever find yourself in Solden, go check it out.
  21. Completely agree. As I found myself in that same hour-long wait to get in the entrance and worrying a whole bunch of people could get hurt, I was thinking maybe this is the last time I would be going to the game until massive improvements are done. Everything about the logistics was a fucking nightmare.
  22. Putting the game aside, that was the most miserable experience I ever recall having at the fair/getting in and out of the Cotton Bowl. Talk about a sea of humanity.
  23. Glad that Yamas seems to be doing better/have their shit together. I went one of the first couple weeks it was open and despite the food being alright, it was probably the worst dining experience I have had for a place at that kind of price point.
  24. Tailgate was great - thanks to all who make it happen!
