  1. You’re going to have to be a helluva lot more specific.
  2. Was cut down to 2 days after the World Series in 2015 to keep from wasting development time as a PTBNL, and I believe that caveat has been removed since then. As long as they’re under contract, they’re eligible to be moved.
  3. Yeah, don’t want to think about it too much, but I don’t think there’s even a tee under that quarter zip.
  4. Yeah, but he was listed in the 280 lbs range as a recruit. The same weight Goosby was listed at in what I quoted.
  5. That Neto weight is encouraging (assuming it’s good weight). He was listed in the Goosby range as a recruit. Maybe he can share his meal plan with Vacek.
  6. If it hadn’t already, that relationship went south the minute she asked you to be somewhere where that game wasn’t a priority….in my experience. My wife often asks me, “Aren’t you glad I like football?” I always respond, “If you love me, not as glad as you are that you like football.”
  7. Agreed. Here’s the top 10 list (includes all players over 700 steals): Rickey Henderson Lou Brock Billy Hamilton Ty Cobb Tim Raines (retired 2002) Vince Coleman (retired 1997) Arlie Latham Eddie Collins Max Carey Honus Wagner Which one (much less three) of those guys retired after Rickey?
  8. Ha! Didn’t click on the link on the BRef list. Wrong Billy Hamilton. 😂 Don’t see how anyone fits the original criteria then of playing after Rickey retired and finishing over 700 SB.
  9. Billy Hamilton (which I got) is the only person that fits this criteria in the big leagues. Obviously, Vince Coleman and Tim Raines got there, but they were retired before Rickey…everyone else over 700 played decades ago.
  10. Jeff Burroughs came to mind, and a quick look seems to confirm he fits the bill.
  11. My first thought was Terry Pendleton, but it looks like he won a Gold Glove or two before ‘91.
  12. Jim Rice…also thought of Fred Lynn, but he topped out at 39.
  13. When I have to do a double take, I do occasionally read it aloud to make sure I’m not missing some juvenile joke. This is Surly after all.
  14. Can someone with some editing skills make that a sparkler for the 4th?
