  1. If you can remember seeing The Dirty Dozen when it first played in theatres/drive ins, you're a boomer. I remember being in the back seat, probably with some home-made popcorn, nodding off, which my dad and mom watched it at the Fredricksburg Drive-In in San Antonio. Allegedly it was released in 1967. And no, I had no idea what was going on.
  2. I think I know where that voice is heading...
  3. I like NateWho's avatar. here is his avatar:

  15. My assumption is that voters that the Dems could still pull in likely hate HRC more than they like a political party being loyal to older politicians. I'd have her roaming the convention. Like Tom Cruise roamed the Olympics.
  16. I for one would like to hear Rahm Emanuel on a looping rant interrupted by occasional tunes.
  17. I just want to know if Chicago (Transit Authority) is playing. Without Peter Cetera. The whole world is watching.
  18. I live my life as if there were Jews lurking everywhere.
  19. So I'm getting my grandson one of those standalone Crosley style suitcase record players. He's probably going to be 90% fascinated by the moving parts, 10% by the music (he's 3) but one song he likes is Yellow Submarine. I should be able to figure this out on youtube or google but I'm coming up empty. Isn't there a kind of narrated version of the soundtrack that tells the story (or just with selected lines from the movie)? I'm not sure if that is just my imagination or what. But I can't seem to locate it, if such a vinyl disc exists.
