  1. Paint jobs are expensive... Gonna run in 5 figures for this. Not surprising - that paint job was done in our garage in 1980. There are at least 20 panels to remove. Luckily the fender are bolt on. A lot of body work that you can't see -rockers, rear doglegs etc have to be replaced. Plus doors, trunk and hood are aluminum which is different process. Everything has to be stripped first. And that is not my 911 in background. Picture was when we were loading it in the truck to ship to the people doing the work. 911 shared the truck
  2. I took mine up 35 to Rolex Service Center in Dallas
  3. Technically the wind did not need to be that high but they wanted the owner to be able to open the trunk.
  4. As a lefty it's odd to comment on swings but. Looks like the follow tru is all over the place. I like the old school view of the front foot where it tends to start to point at the target after the swing. Yours never moves. I also like the follow thru to wrap around the back (think Ernie Els).
  5. What year? Looking for wood grain radio bezel but only 2000-2002 will work
  6. That is a great summing up of the beginning
  7. The bloody nose reminded me of this. Around 2:00 - you like pain. You eat it like candy
  8. Hate to say that it will probably be close to that number. I had to do just the front bumper on my 2001 4Runner. Same as yours - chrome version. About 1500 for parts and labor. I looked everywhere for a used bumper and the chrome ones don't exist except in junkyards after a collision. Mine only had a 5mph dent from a teenage drier. Yours has a lot more frame damage and hood and fenders. Glad everyone is OK.
  9. Is this a hemi only issue? Haven't dug into an engine for years but don't remember seeing or having to look for what you describe
  10. To quote the great Charley Steiner - Francis Scott Off Key
  11. Look out the left windows at the body being dragged across the lawn...😃
  12. They could have gone just a little stronger... or maybe not. One of the better legal statements of the month
  13. A customs guy in Toronto was convinced I was coming up there for the NHL All Star game and not for business. He must have asked 4-5 times for me to confirm I was not there for hockey.
  14. Nice left hook - name that cat Smoking Joe Frazier
  15. That was Bill Clinton's theme song -
  16. Well the ski patrol said they had never seen or heard of anyone doing the headbutt so I am marking it down as freak accident
  17. I learned the hard way to never use the straps on poles. Kinda like you - pitched forward and pole is locked upright. Head butted it and had to get stitches on forehead. Without straps I would have had to walk over and pick up the pole
  18. MOPARs are out of sight (and reach). Especially with big engines. Rusted hulks with Hemi going north of 20K is common. Kinda surprised the Cuda with Hemi was under 100K until I read it agian and noticed it was a roadrunner and not Cuda.
  19. Not going back to search but has anyone answered the quesiton on blanket pardons? Can you say everyone in the capitol is free or does it have to be by name and crime?
  20. Yeah - thought it was Markie Post. We need a scorecard here.
  21. I have only read that they were missing in one office. If it was deliberate I would think thye would have removed them in a lot of offices
  22. Still don't understand why they don't make 2 distinct nozzles. I know they make one smaller but that only protects one side. Make the diesel nozzzle square and eliminate this issue
  23. Might not want to call her "old" either
  24. You do not want to get kicked out of there. Not the nicest neighborhood
  25. Thought for a second the Carcano ad was the same Oswald used but different Carcano.
