  1. Nice Peter Falk reference...
  2. well Troy was south and east of Montgomery. At best this is a draw
  3. Fpr some reason I never liked the Charger that everyone drools over. However my dream Mopar is 70 or so Challenger. Really liked Vanishing Point also
  4. Back in early 90's I had a friend at IBM in Dallas with a genuine Shelby Cobra signed by him. He had bought it in the 60's for something really cheap like 5K because it only had a 289. Used to kid me that it was better than the IBM retirement plan - in hindsight he was probably right
  5. Yeah - customs over there is very hit/miss. Went thru Frankfort in 2013 and it was a drive by at customs - all they were looking for was a hand holding a passport up as you walked by. Same thing in Singapore which seemed really odd.
  6. Here is what I have on my Sub. No idea if they still sell these since I bought a few of them around 2008. Lot's of interesting choices though. https://westcoastime.com/newnatbanfro.html Other bands https://westcoastime.com/accessories.html
  7. It's odd but I wear my vintage Sub on a 10 buck military strap. Basically a NATO but with a traditional buckle. Never liked the Sub bracelet because wrist changed diameters with hot/cold and couldn't get a decent fit.
  8. Know that feeling. Just got back last week from delivering my 1962 MGA to a shop in Michigan to work on it. Was my Dad's and my twin brothers so I am getting it back on the road. It's not going to cost 100K but I am not interested in the cost (yet). Had a similar one in the 80's so i know what I am getting into.
  9. and here. This site is great http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8&products_id=21&zenid=P14yyb-Qx1SfjgDFmDsVZ2 f you are not 100% satisfied, you may return this product for a full refund, in no LESS than 30 days before you purchase it!
  10. I will say this - doubt Carroll just decided he had to throw there. That's a lot of decision making in a few seconds. In addition the Seattle player who was now starting for New England knew the play was coming and New England had practiced a lot against that play - which means they were expecting it for any number of reasons - and the DB reacted as expected. Back then someone posted a photo taken from the left side and behind Wilson which showed what looked like a wide open receiver right after the snap. The didn't know Butler was streaking into the photo to make the grab
  11. Don't often see the words machete and grenade in same sentence
  12. Chill out dude - I said I was wrong...
  13. Yep - I guess I am wrong. The wording does say entire body. However if the throwing arm is not past the line then neither is the ball.
  14. Unless high school has different rulesthan college - the ball has to be behind the line. Doesn't matter where the foot is.
  15. It is very pricey but the Tumi backpack I have is the best I could imagine. It went all over the world with for years at IBM before retiring. The best feature was the design of the shoulder straps in relation to the pack. There was never any sagging of the bottom of the bag while walking. It stayed high on shoulders all the time. I got it as a reward but would not give it up
  16. wow - had forgot that they made the lefty
  17. Total lack of trash cans at hotels. I usually grab something to eat and bring it back knowing the only trash can in the entire hotel is outside in parking lot. Too classy to just toss the pizza box or whatever in hallway
  18. A lot of people felt the parson should have been done after a conviction.... As it was Nixon started claiming "elder statesman" status
  19. Take a piece of scrap and try both - see which you like best
  20. How is theft of a boat " conspiracy to transport a vessel in foreign commerce?"
  21. Excalibur was very good. Old school style - they had to learn to swing swords while wearing armor. No many special effects for the battles
  22. yeah - like the 1979 Army was prepared to invade Iran. Look what happened when they tried a rescue. Some folks have no idea how bad our forces were after Nam.
  23. A very good choice. Too bad there was so much red tape and no one has released the soundtrack. IIRC the first movie for Michelle Pfieffer
  24. Possibly clogged AC condensate line - look at a model specific forum for more info. And if that is what it is - unclog it NOW. Don't ask me how I know this but on 90's era Jeeps the drain tube falls off if you don't add a clamp. Drive for four hours and have literally an inch of water in passenger floor. Jeep dealer in Florida knew instantly what it was. Hey Einstein - maybe tell Jeep to add the clamp at the factory if you see this often enough. Had to pull all the capret and seats when I got back home.
  25. and the guy who stopped it has closing speed.
