We simply have to be better than everyone but ou which should not be a hard to ask this staff. We have a top 3-5 DC, we also have a top 3 play caller in Sark, and Banks who is supposed to be an elite special teams coach. If these guys can’t gameplan again teams outside of ou, then what a waste of fucking money. We have a stacked RB room with a Heisman potential player in Bijan. Whittington was once a 5 star player and I’ve seen enough to know that guy can fucking play at a high level if he’s healthy. Add in Josh Moore, TO21, Dixon, and Worthy. While that may not be as stacked as Bama, tOSUs WR corps… it’s better than 90% of rosters. Our D-line depth is probably top 5 in the country. We have an experienced and talented secondary. This defense should be stout if DMO comes back healthy and we can get 2 other LBs to step up. We’re not in a terrible spot at QB. Both are inexperienced but both show decent to good accuracy and ++ speed. Run the fucking ball with Bijan/Rojo/K. Robinson. Get Whittington, Worthy, Dixon in space and dump it off to them and let them use their speed. Use TO on fades, jump balls, and in the red zone. Keep this shit simple and I bet we win 10+ games. Now if I see some stupid Tom Herman shit like Garrett fucking Gray out there starting and stupid blitzes from 15 yards out, I’m going just tune out for the rest of the season.

It’s sad to me that us fans are fully expecting to drop one of the first two games and expecting 7-9 wins. Fuck losing to some directional Louisiana team and a fucking bottom barrel Arkansas team. And fuck losing any games in the big 12. We have out recruited every fucking team including ou. If these coaches can’t get us to 10 fucking wins against the pathetic big 12 and a shitty OOC schedule, then fuck this program. Fucking aggy is expecting to compete for a national championship with a 1st year QB and we’re sitting here wondering if our new staff can out perform that moron Tom Herman. 10+ wins and a big 12 championship appearance is what we need to accomplish.

I had a similar experience with Exact Sciences. Bought at $17. Just kept losing money as it went down to $7. Ended up getting FDA approval and now its at $118. Kicking myself for selling it for a loss. I'm just going to close my eyes and wait it out with IBRX.

My sister in law is friends with some of the cast members. Basically the actors were getting paid shit, weren’t happy with the character development, and overall there was disconnect between the cast and the director/producers. They are also pissed that the show gained popularity off of Asian actors and they decided to give a the spin off show to the white girl.

NIL isn’t going to stop schools from dropping bags. Kids will still want the big pay day rather than hoping they can build a following in hopes of getting money from name, image, and likeness. Most players have said NIL isn’t playing a big role in their decisions. Let’s see how Texas utilizes it. Have any football players actually monetized this so far? Outside of guys like Bijan, most guys may make $100-200 bucks here and there with appearances. That’s not going to move the needle in recruiting. The talk of Texas being the biggest player in NIL seems silly. Just looks like we will help players build a following and help link them with marketing firms. Not sure what else Texas is planning on doing.

Right now, our message is not resonating. While yes, they can point to their previous resume… our rivals are hitting them with the same pitch. Here’s how this conversation goes. ”Look at all the good coaches and staffs that have been there that have gotten fired. Mack Brown, Charlie Strong, Tom Herman. None of them succeeded there and none were able to develop blue chip players. Sark is a good coach but wait to see if he can actually put players in the league at Texas. His success is because of Nick Saban and Bama. He doesn’t have a good record as a head coach. Why commit to Texas when you can come here and we will develop you. Don’t risk your future betting on Texas until they prove it.” Then they back it up with the articles showing Texas with the lowest blue chip development rate of all power 5 programs. Most of the current recruits have no memories of Texas being a top program. I follow a bunch of Instagram recruiting accounts that interact with high school and college athletes. Most of them have Texas on the same tier program wise as TCU, Baylor, Arkansas, Tennessee, etc. Sark needs to change that perception fast by winning. It’s a simple solution… just win. Apparently that seems impossible for all the coaches we have hired the last decade for whatever reason.

We simply are not getting the benefit of the doubt anymore by recruits. It’s comes down to winning and development. Luckily for us, Texas is a school that can easily pull experienced veteran players from the transfer market. I fully expect us to bring in a tackle once the LSU tackle doesn’t workout. Spoke to a LSU grad that said he would be shocked if the LSU tackle qualified at Texas. Said if LSU couldn’t fudge his grades to keep him qualifying, Texas definitely won’t be able to get him admitted. As far as Banks, it sucks. This reminds me of last year when we were going to get every OL and ended up with none of themZ I’m happy we have Robertson and Hutson. Let’s hope we close the deal on Campbell but those elite guys are getting the negative sell from every school on Texas. They are literally showing them data that Texas is the worst school when it comes to developing g blue chip prospects. Hard to combat that until you prove it on the field. This class will have some very good pieces. It will probably fall in the top 7-13 range when it’s all said and done. That plenty good to compete in the college football playoffs with our current roster and our ability to fill in holes with the transfer portal.

It’s comes down to winning. Our program has been in the gutter. Ohio state is making the CFP almost every year and send players to the league draft after draft. Quinn wants to be a part of a winning team. I don’t blame him. The dude committed to Texas and we shit the bed with a senior QB and loaded roster. Obviously I wish this guy loved Texas enough to come here and change our program, but that’s not the case. Luckily we’ve got a QB with an elite arm in Hudson Card. Sark needs to fucking win this year and show an elite offense. If he does that, we’ll get Arch Manning and no one will complain about Ewers leaving for tOSU. If we have a 7-8 win season again, I expect more of the same…. We’ll land top 10-15 classes and be a tier behind the elite programs and cycle through another coach in a few years.

Nice little rebound on IBRX. I'm going to hold this mother fucker till it hits $40. I initially bought at $32, doubled my position at $18 and then doubled my position again at $13.8. The slightest bit of good news and this thing will rebound quick. It's volatile which I like. I may try to just play the yo-yo'ing of this stock.
-
If it fails, this dude is going to lose more money than all of us combined with how many shares he has haha
-
Same. I’ve bought twice on the way down after getting in around $30. Need this sucker to pop!

Texas Recruiting Notes 2023: Strippers, Monkeys, and 5-Stars
victory88 replied to Machinator's topic in 🤫$9.95🤫
John Burt is the only guy I can remember doing that. The odds statistically are low for him and Evan Stewart to commit based on previous history. -
Just doubled my position at sub $14. Risk it for the biscuit.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2023: Strippers, Monkeys, and 5-Stars

There are no shortage of aggy alums that will pay their players to make an appearance at Dixie chicken. We still have to have a bag game to compete in my opinion. -
Bro, I'm going to be on cloud nine singing errrbody when Arch commits.

It's infuriating to think that keeping Samples here would have given us a huge leg up in DFW. We were in it for every Duncanville prospect and guys like Camar Wheaton who was on commit watch because of Samples. Instead we hired a fucking analyst that cannot recruit and has yet to show he can develop our WRs.

The truth is that you can only sell promise for so long. I listened to the recent blitz episode where they analyzed 27 power 5 programs and Texas was dead fucking last when it came to developing blue chip prospects. Rod Babers is right that schools are easily negative recruiting us simply by showing them the data and our results. It's hard to argue with 10 years of data. Garrett Wilson said, talented WRs come here only to disappear and never be heard of. He's not wrong. In addition, the leadership within our program got lazy and let this entire thing slide. We were more focused on what fucking taco bell commercial to put on the jumbotron that keeping our program elite. Give aggy as much shit as you want. They managed to position themselves in the best conference, pulled a national championship winning coach to that shit hole, upgraded all their facilities even if it's made them broke, and figured out a way to compete with the Bamas, UGAs, and LSUs when it comes to buying recruits. Meanwhile, we let our facilities slide, stayed in a pathetic conference, hired 3rd rate coaches like Charlie Strong, and have a inflated image of our program thinking that elite recruits will come here regardless of results because we are Texas. Recruits would love to come here. We simply have to win. My hope is that Sark and his staff can accomplish that. Until we start putting players in the 1st round and competing for the national championship, we are going to see more of the same. The other option is that we start buying recruits like aggy but I've lost hope in that as well. I don't think NIL is going to have the effect people think it will at the moment. On the bright side, it takes 1 coach to figure it out. Look at Texas basketball. We might be the hottest program in the country right now. I never imagined seeing us recruit the way we are. If Sark can figure it out, recruits will line up to play here again.

The Evans recruitment to me feels like it's going to end up like Jalen Waddle. According to ears to the streets on his podcast from a few weeks ago mentioned that Waddle had given Texas a silent during the spring of his junior year. He then started taking visits and it was down to the highest bidder. Evans feels the same way. I really hope Sark and the boosters have figured out a way to get his dad paid. We cannot let talent like that go out of state. At this point, the NCAA does give a fuck... we need to get his dad paid and let him take advantage of the NIL stuff.
