  1. I keep telling you, he's 72 years old and he's dead! Caleb went to aggy?
  2. Oh I am sure she is quite sympathetic, but the decision isn't in her hands. Davis, Hartzell, the BOR and Abbott are making the call. Not whoever answers the phone in the Tower. She's probably fielding calls all day.
  3. Try that in a small town!
  4. And i know where they will end up
  5. Wow, the Celina Middle School football team had a drag queen for a coach?
  6. Yeah, going up against one of the best rivalry games in college is not going to end well for most teams. Even when both teams are kinda meh, people tune into this game
  7. Looking forward to a report
  8. The definition of "celebrating" has been warped by this big headed conservadork's death. Quoting his actual speech = celebrating Saying his family didn't deserve this but his rhetoric lead to it = celebrating Doing anything but glazing him as an American hero = celebrating
  9. And in the most bipolar ways - a vintage SEC SEC SEC defense slugfest and then a Big 12-esque 4OT shootout
  10. Also if anyone wants to see something hilarious: https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/46605009/ncaa-womens-college-volleyball-bracketology-top-teams-predictions-2025 Charlie Creme routinely fucks up his WBB bracketology (his literal main job at ESPN), so he attempted to do a Volleyball one. But he didn't do a bracket, just seeded teams along the 1-16 lines. Calls Nebraska the "clear" #1 seed, despite Texas being #1 in RPI, RPI Futures and KPI. He even mentions both RPI and KPI being out and used for his bracketology! Mentions their 10 top-50 RPI wins, as if Texas doesn't have 10 of their own! I think he just took the top 4 of the RPI and made them the top 4 seeds, but put Nebraska #1 and Texas #2. Everything below that is garbage and the committee doesn't seed seed all 64 teams like that. He has Pitt and Louisville #3/#4, with Kentucky #5, despite the H2H win over Louisville.
  11. I still cannot believe this shit tonight isn't being streamed anywhere It's Texas and aggy. Even in fall ball, come on!
  12. LOL Jesus Seniors at Auburn have seen the Tigers win just four SEC home games in their time at the school. Three of the four wins came by 3 points or less, with two ending in overtime. • Def. Missouri 17-14 in OT in 2022 • Def. Texas A&M 13-10 in 2022 • Def. Miss State 27-13 in 2023 • Def. Texas A&M 43-41 in 4OT in 2024 Texas won 3 SEC home games in their first year in the league, lol
  13. They should have released it 5 minutes after Texas beat OU. Nobody would have noticed for like 5 days.
  14. After reading your graduate thesis on the Arkansas "rivalry" on VolleyTalk, this might be shortest post you type today.
  15. Uh yup. Losing to Texas with no Mateer would have been a total mulligan game for BV, with a whole year of Gooner fans telling us they would have beaten the brakes off of Texas if their guy got to play, blah blah blah, wait until next year. BV's job is a lot safer Saturday night than it is now, when you peek ahead at their schedule. Upcoming DCs are going to watch that tape on repeat and try to replicate how we beat them, and if/when BV is out of a job in December, you can go ahead and point to October 11, 2025 as to why. Losing 3 of 4 to Texas, in the way they have (0, 3, 6 points scored) is going to be the reason, but at least with a backup QB in last Saturday, that game becomes a lot less of a black mark on BV's personnel file and more of a "well if this happened, we win" type of game.
  16. You're gonna get this site shut down for using woke phrases like that
  17. How unsurprising. The compact puts the entire onus on the school meeting the demands (which will invariably change as time goes on), with the government dictating all of the terms of the agreement or withholding the funds. UT is just priming itself to be MAGA's bitch.
  18. And with how many teams are in the B1G, if you can avoid hitting all 3 of Ohio State/Oregon/USC, it is really hard to fuck up a 9-3/10-2 season. Mostly because Cignetti also schedules OOC like crap for the next 4 years and doesn't play a P4 OOC opponent until 2030/31 (ND) 2026 - UNT, Howard, WKU 2027 - Kennesaw State, Indiana State, UMass 2028 - Austin Peay, Eastern Michigan, Miami Ohio 2029 - Ball State, Eastern Illinois, WKU
  19. Not for nothing, but 50% of the last 16 games have hit at least 56 points, with 3 games hitting or exceeding 78 points The smallest total in the last 16 games is 30 and that is the only game that didn't hit at least 40. It is a pretty high scoring series.
  20. Yeah and Ted Cruz, Ron DeSantis, Tom Cotton, JD Vance, et al all went to elite private schools like Harvard and Yale and have done nothing but attack and denigrate them. There is no loyalty to any institution in the quest for power.
  21. He's 64 years old already. He is 17-2 at INDIANA (who has a historical winning percentage of .421) with a CFP appearance and on the verge of a second. I don't think there's an "inevitable stumble" that is going to get him shitcanned, when he could and likely would just retire. This guy was on the NCST staff and he coached Phillip Rivers and recruited Russell Wilson, and then went off to the Nick Saban coaching factory for 4 seasons, including recruiting Julio Jones, D'Onta Hightower and Mark Ingram. And for some reason, he was never talked about as a HC candidate. Dude bet on himself and took a lower level job (IUP) so he could be a head coach instead of waiting for some P4 program to finally take a chance on him. All he's done since then: 53-17 at IUP 14-9 at Elon 52-9 at JMU 17-2 at Indiana Seems primed for a good run of 9/10+ win seasons until he's ready to hang it up. Even if he sprinkles in a 7-6/8-4 season or two or three, that is still wildly above Indiana's historical norm.
  22. She looked really dang good during those games in Canada I am super stoked about this team - Rori and Preston are a dynamic PG duo - Rori brings the defense (Preston is no slouch there) and Preston brings the offense off the bench I expect a big jump for Jordan Lee this year Booker is Booker - she gonna cook. And Crump looks like she can actually give Booker some rest every game The 4s look good too - Sidberry, Judd and Carlton looked really good in Canada Oldacre/Cunningham is a great inside duo I have no idea what we will get out of Prenter (the freshman from Ireland) and Hose (the Swede transfer) but the main 10 players looked extremely good. It's experience all over the place - Rori, Judd and Oldacre have been playing college ball for 4 years (and the one year Rori was a "coach"), Booker, Sidberry and Cunningham are juniors and we have 3 sophomores on the floor who saw significant time on a Final Four team in Lee, Preston and Carlton
