  1. Another Jerome Boger special. He's fucking terrible.
  2. Yep. And they will be eager to make up for the craptastic showing against TCU.
  3. I had a connection for a short time with one of the guys at Bristol Farms in South Pas who helped run their liquor section, but then COVID hit, my office moved locations, I started working from home a ton, and that was the end of that. I've also been so crazy busy with work lately that I haven't been buying as much. But thanks for the heads up on the South Pas Pavilions. My son lives about 10 minutes away from there and I needed to drop some stuff off to him anyway, so I stopped in the store afterwards. The EC18s were gone, but I did pick up a Calumet Farm 16 as well as a bottle of Lost Monarch. I know the feedback on this site about Calumet is mixed to say the least, but I'd read some good reviews of the 16 SRB so thought I'd give it a shot. I haven't tried any of their other stuff. Early returns on the 16 are that it's good but not worth $150. Definitely a good amount of oak, but it's not off-putting at least to me. That said, it ain't worth $150. There's too much stuff for well under $100 that is as good or better.
  4. Not even close, actually. Texas has a 76-37-5 record against aggy, so the gomers are at .327 against the Horns.
  5. Cards fans heading for the exits early.
  6. "Fingers cramping up." Lulz. No, it's his sphincter that's cramping up. Marmol and Maddux just bought their pen another 5-10 warmup throws, that's what happened, ya boneheaded TV announcers. ARod knows better.
  7. With the aid of a blatant uncalled hold. *fucktherefs* For me the loudest game/most energy/whatever you want to call it was definitely '90 Houston.
  8. Cue the "our season was sunk by injuries, not Jimbo's shitty offense" posts in . . . 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . .
  9. Believe me, we suffered for it. So did all those near enough to be subjected to our beer farts.
  10. This hits home with me because many, many moons ago some friends and I did a blind comparison of the shitty beers we drank in college. Competitors included Milwaukee's Best, Meister Brau, Carling Black Label, PBR, Old Style, Busch, and a few others that escape me. PBR won, but the comparison kind of broke down into full-scale drinking with very little grading after a while.
  11. Considering how cheap 1783 is, it's really good. But it's not as good as the EWSiB.
  12. "Historically, Texas A&M is really good at being loud on Friday night and then average on Saturday." https://www.al.com/alabamafootball/2022/10/joseph-goodman-awkward-but-endearing-texas-am-wants-what-it-hasnt-earned.html The rest of the SEC is starting to figure out aggy.
  13. On one hand, he knows his audience, so he's going to shovel out BS like this because he knows they'll lap it up. OTOH, he's an aggy as well, so the delusion is ingrained. Tough call.
  14. Well, he was right about the "we ain't goin' nowhere" part. Just not the way he meant it.
  15. Thought Lutz did it again, like Britney
