  1. Had a buddy of a buddy drive me once, he's from Florida. We're in the left lane, kinda tailgating some moron doing like 57 or so. I ask him, 'do folks not respect the left lane in Florida too?' to which he answered 'dunno, don't really pay attention to that.' Took all the willpower I had not to call him a moron.
  2. We're not letting this thread die, are we? LAA vs Toronto - under 9.5. No Upton for LAA tonight who only came back last night and no Bour either who has a couple of HR since getting called back up. Houston -175 at Cincy. Only 175? I would bet this up to -195 which is pretty much my limit on any bet. Don't like anything -2 or higher. ATL +107 vs NYM. I like the home dog, SP's about even WHIP 1.19 for Teheran vs 1.13 for deGrom. PHI +154 @ WAS. No Realmuto tonight, Arrieta is not the old Arrieta, but I still like PHI at these odds.
  3. Did Phil copy Tiger with the gum or what?
  4. Same I think. Wind's not picking up at all. Not gonna get any warmer than it is right now. Actually, not gonna get any colder either until maybe very late in the round.
  5. Do we need a "Jordan Spieth - one of our own?" thread?
  6. Love seeing Isao Aoki out there. Must be working for Japanese media.
  7. I thought I was watching myself for a minute there. Except I'm not some euro in some gay-ass colors. NTTAWWT
  8. Yeah on second viewing, the rake really didn't play. Tiger can't buy a putt to save his life.
  9. OK that one might really be on the caddie. Should have moved that rake.
  10. No kidding, when did he turn into such a little bitch? Complaining about the bounce on 17? WTF?
  11. Does Klatt even know he's covering golf?
  12. Waco is Austin if it had not grown and instead of UT there was some church affiliated school, and the capital was some other city.
  13. Nice call. Followed you on that one. Currently sweating out the Rangers +150 at Boston. Only game I like later today is Phils -129 to take the series from AZ.
  14. Maeda looks super sharp, gives up homer to Ohtani on the same pitch he just struck out Trout looking. Falls apart. Baseball, man.
  15. I've been paying less attention to the starting pitchers because of the way the game has evolved. Obviously when there's an "opener" that changes things but also, with very few exceptions, starters seem to be going fewer and fewer innings. I rarely bet a bad team with a good starter, e.g. Bumgarner. I haven't watched enough this year to know in detail, who's got a good bullpen and who doesn't, but by this time of the year, the better teams must have decent bullpens. I stick with good teams vs bad and follow series, regardless of who's starting. End up betting a lot of faves that way. For example, AZ beat Philly at Philly last night. Philly is the better team, at home, I expect them to win this series, so I'm going Philly -130 tonight, despite Arrieta having a 1.43 WHIP. In previous years, I would rarely bet on a starter with a WHIP that high, even a seasoned, successful vet like Arrieta. Similarly, I don't see a lousy team like LAA taking two from LAD, so I'm going LAD -160. I also like TB -155. They were flying under the radar some but the lines have adjusted I think. Same with Min. Can't go Min tonight, odds are just too high at -190.
  16. I was waiting for someone to point that out especially given similar criticism often leveled at UT.
  17. Saw Hamilton. It seemed to me like the vast majority of folks were just waiting for the first song to end so they could leap to their feet to give a standing ovation. Say what you will, I actually thought it was pretty good and entertaining and I got my money's worth. But at no time did I ever think it deserved a standing ovation.
  18. Actually, they should do something like a free throw shooting contest or who can throw a baseball the farthest.
  19. all that running around and it's a 46 point quarter.
  20. At the very least she could have thrown in a sixer.
