  1. I mean... his name is Helmut. He's being as chill as he possibly can be.
  2. Yup, he chose it on purpose.
  3. McLaren 2-3??? Is this the real life????
  4. Ugh, but I can't watch it because it originally aired on ESPNU and my app knows I don't have a subscription to that. Same has been true for P1 and P2. Luckily qualy is on ESPN2, not the U.
  5. Toto = Christian. They are not even opposite sides of the same coin, they're the same side of the same coin. I find it amusing that people like one, and not the other. Not commenting on you specifically, FTC, I have no idea how you feel about Horner. I just see a chunk of Mercedes fanbois acting like Toto is somehow better or different than Horner. But no, he's not. And I take immense pleasure in watching Toto descend into pettiness now that his team doesn't have the best car by far. Just as it was amusing watching Horner twist in the wind after the last dominating cycle of RBR ended. It sure would be great to see some OTHER team have some prolonged success and knock both of those assholes off their perch.
  6. No... I meant why is SHOOTER MCGAVIN on the council.
  7. I agree with your general sentiment but I don't think they're trying to sell the majority of them becoming genocidal maniacs-- as I recall they've suggested at least a few times that it's a small radical sect. So I think what they haven't done well, is shown all of the NON-psycho Skrulls and how they're responding. We're really only seeing Talos, and I guess briefly G'iah, fighting against Gravik and the psycho murder-cult. And when they showed the NATO commander Skrull imposter sort of stand up to Gravik and oppose the idea of mass genocide, it only took one punch to the gut to turn him around. So they're not showing any strength in Skrull opposition, which is I think the real issue. Also, why is Shooter McGavin on the council? Didn't Billy put him in his place decades ago?
  8. My SIL has lately been making a broccoli slaw that's really good, I prefer it to the standard stuff. But it sounds like you don't need it so I guess I'll just shut the hell up.
  9. I think I can settle this dspute: Screw Lewis, Screw George, Screw Toto, Screw Mercedes The End
  10. Last one I ordered was a couple months ago at a location in CP, and it too was perfect.
  11. Just saw this, Grosjean posted it on the 4th.
  12. It's one of the two great "fucks" in recent entertainment memory. The other one is:
  13. Yup, a friend of mine not only lost his exterior fender facia and wheel well, but the tire blew apart all of the plumbing and floor of his bathroom as it came apart. He had no trouble getting back on the road, but his bathroom was completely useless for a few days of that week-long trip, until we managed to collect some parts and cobble together a temporary fix for his last couple of days. Repair estimates were high, he ended up just totaling that trailer and getting a replacement.
  14. Internet message board television talk-- serious bidness.
  15. Crazy For You is probably my favorite Madonna song-- that entire VisionQuest soundtrack is pretty great. And +whatever on all of those saying that in today's information/entertainment climate, you just can't reach the mass saturation that you could up through the 90s and early 2000s. For that reason, I don't think you have to be a "cranky boomer" not to know Beyonce or Taylor Swift. It's likely every boomer has HEARD their stuff, but there's no reason why they'd know exactly who sang it. There's just not the market saturation to make the link, like there was 20+ years ago. Anyway, I'm solidly GenX and I liked some but not all Madonna music back in the day, and I certainly recognize and respect her cultural impact and always liked that she was so supportive of inclusion.
  16. Yeah no kidding. The part that was the exact same plot as the classic 80s cheeseball comedy Major League, was fine, but all the rest of it was just too silly...
  17. Yeah that Williams looks nice.
  18. Yeah I think plate ribs smoke up better than chuck ribs, and both are far superior to back ribs which are much smaller and have a lot less meat on them.
  19. Plate ribs are short ribs. Chuck ribs are also short ribs. I prefer plate, but you can make tasty bbq out of the chuck ribs too. The ones that are not short ribs, are back ribs. I don't bother with doing those on the smoker but some folks do.
  20. Yup, agree with all of the above. I like the look of natural wood on the treads, and you can always put color on the risers if you want something more interesting.
  21. And honestly it's not even every corner of every track, just a few select corners here and there on some key tracks.
  22. holy longcat, sheesh
