Yeah I'm not gonna lie, Lance Leipold is a whole bitch. He was crying like a little girl about the tortilla toss during the week leading up to the game and cried about it to the refs during the game. Of course, there is no video or photographic evidence to back up his claim, which means he's just dead set on becoming new aggy I guess.

This is, quite literally, exactly what we have done.

Other than the first sentence, this is just a complete fantasy you made up in your head. I have already posted about how I don't necessarily agree with Cody's position here, but this post makes you look like a fucking moron because you clearly don't have any idea what his actual position is or what he's advocating for. You're just making an assumption and then making it everyone else's problem that you're actually just too lazy to look it up for yourself.

If you wanna talk shit, talk your shit. Don't couch it behind vague, passive aggressive, half baked criticisms and poorly understood talking points or whatever to try and make yourself look like some kind of objective pundit here.

This is why I wasn't taking you seriously and it seems like I was right.

I have read things, have listened and what I hear him saying and watch what he is doing appear to be two different things, but as I am too lazy and not smart enough to understand I will see myself out.

No, don't run away. You wanted my attention and you now have it.

You confidently asserted:

  1. That we are attempting to spin our NIL spending in some way
  2. That CC is running a commercial that is claiming that:
    1. Things in college football need to change to save it
    2. Money should be taken out of the game

All of that is entirely made up.

We haven't tried "spinning" our NIL spending in any way, we've owned it fully, and I find it absolutely hilarious to me that you claim to admire SMU for doing, quite literally, exactly what we are doing. Hell, I do too, but at least be honest. You want to praise them and shit on us. That's fine, just own it.

The commercial says nothing of the sort, as far as I know he doesn't hold any position anywhere near that. He position is that pooling media rights nationally and keeping them out of the hands of private equity and out of the control of the conference commissioners will lead to an overall increase in revenue for everyone, to the tune of billions of dollars, which in turn will allow sports other than football to flourish across the board. He isn't saying a damn thing about college football needing to change or that money being in the sport the way it is now is a problem. You're just making that up whole cloth.

And look, I'm not even saying I agree with him. I think he doesn't fully understand what he's talking about, I think his position is highly speculative/wishcasty, and I think his talking points when speaking to the media about this or even in his commercial are far too vague. I think the only reason anyone is taking him seriously on this is because he has Trump's ear.

Like I said before, if you wanna talk shit then talk shit. I don't care, I love it.
