Thru to the 16.  Will be interesting to see what kind of team Arteta puts out vs PSV since the match means nothing, and its sandwiched b/w Villa and Brighton.

As for the PL, the remaining matches of 2023.  Wolves Saturday then @  Luton Tuesday.   Things pick up from there, @  Villa Sat 12/8, Brighton Sunday 9/17, @ Liverpool Saturday 12/23 then close out '23 vsWest Ham Thursday 12/28.

I'd imagine we see heavily rotated squad for PSV, if not a "youth team." Of course Saka will play ~ 70 mins.

That's a nasty run of fixtures: Wolves I'd imagine will park all 10 outfield players in the box, Villa and Brighton are very good sides, Liverpool seem to have their groove back, and West Ham already beat us this year (granted, a rotated side in the Booby Prize Cup).

Still...We haven't played our best yet this year.  Once we figure things out...

If Saka starts, much less goes 70 vs PSV, im gonna be pissed.   The front line should be Nelson, Eddie $ and Trosard

Doubful he will be healthy but would also be a great match to get ESR some time.

We're a bit thin in MF at the moment: ESR is likely out until the end of December. Fabio just had groin surgery and is expected to miss "some weeks." Partey, who has played 15 mins since August, isn't expected back till January (when he'll leave for AFCON at which he will re-injure himself and miss the rest of the season). Probably need to add one or two during the winter window.

Really feel for Smith-Rowe.  Hale End product who seemed destined to lead The Arsenal for a decade alongside Saka, but he just cannot stay healthy.

Saliba gets the plaudits (and deservedly so), but Gabi XL has turned into just as elite a CB.

And yeah, for all Zinny adds in attack, man he can be a liability defensively. Our best XI might have Benny Blanco and Tomi as the fullbacks. Losing Timber really sucked

Nah.

Let’s go meteor.

Or a nil-nil draw with 10 red cards.

This is the answer.  Nil-nil is always the desired result when two highly positioned clubs not named Arsenal play.  Second best result is Spuds 1-nil over City, but that's like rooting for aggy to beat Bama.

The family is headed to London for the week of Christmas.  We’re trying to get tickets to the West Ham game, but no luck so far.  We all struck out on the ballot and I’m F5ing on the Ticket Exchange but no luck there either.   Part of the price of the team’s form & resurgence I guess.
Any of y'all have tips for snagging tickets?
