I know the narrative. I just don’t  believe it’s 100% accurate. Moore clearly had positional power and influence, Girlfriend had personal power and influence. Most would prefer the latter since the former can be gone in a flash. Ask Moore.

In case anyone doubted when I said the morons who think she had equal power are the guys who can't get any.

100% this. The two most racist things I've ever witnessed in my career both happened in Europe with European companies.

Moore, a man who had a $30 million contract handed to him to coach one of the premier programs in the country, is a victim of racism. Glad we got that straightened out.

Lots of racism in Asia, Africa and South America.  It’s not a uniquely American thing.

If Moore had beaten OSU again, he would still be the head coach at Michigan and all this "evidence" would have been disappeared. You can't trust anything this current administration is going to let see the light of day because they tried to cover up the biggest cheating scandal in college football history.

Yep.  And if urban has won in Jacksonville he’d still be there too

To quote a comedian, women have half the money and all the pussy. It won’t be long until they have all the money too.

I think she likely fucked her way inside out to the top office starting with players and ending with the Head coach.

This happens a lot too. Women will set out with this goal in mind. Can’t believe some people are shocked by that. I also can’t believe men are dumb enough to keep falling for it.

You're responding to a tremendous moron who is accusing a woman of sleeping her way to the top with zero evidence. The grand summary of her accomplishments being her rise to the position of *checks notes* administrative assistant the exact same position she started in.

Rape happens a lot, too. That has exactly as much to do with this situation as the hypothetical you're engaging in right now.

It takes a stretch of the imagination to believe that a two year relationship went on without some level of mutual consent but HR policies are written the way they are for a reason.

Let’s posit that she actually did pursue him aggressively. Moore has all the room in the world to just throw the brake with no fear of retaliation. “I need to be clear: I am not interested in an extramarital relationship with you and I will expect future interactions to be strictly professional. If that won’t be possible, we can discuss this with HR.”  It was always within Moore’s list of options to do that.

On the flip side, it’s not reasonable to expect that a vastly junior and younger employee can make the same statement without reasonable fear of retaliation from the most powerful and important man on the UM campus. And that’s why HR codes are written as they are.

The most likely scenario is some mutual consent on both sides, but that an affair that seemed exciting and flattering at first became claustrophobic, sordid, and overwhelming as it dragged on and as it seems Moore became increasingly clingy. She wanted out, he got scared of what she had on him, and eventually telling the truth became less painful than status quo for her. Many such cases, but the flat spin he went into was a result of his own pilot error.

Some of you need to replace the female in this developing scandal and potential cover up, with the boys in the Sandusky scandal and cover up. If you can’t see the issue here and you want to blame the victims, shame on you.

There are other females that are not subordinate, students or otherwise affiliated with UM who Moore could have slept with and would not be an issue professionally.

To make clear, Moore is the one who killed his own golden goose, no one else!

I wouldn’t even describe Paige as the victim.  It was a consensual relationship and she had enough.  She told him to go away. He got clingy like a beta.   When she ended it, he goes to her apartment rather than be with his wife and three daughters.  Beta pos, but according to the bigots on this board Moore is a victim of racism.
