Beer 2026: I Want You To Put The Word Out There That We Back Up

Featured Replies

did yall know that IPAs get their name from the strong beers shipped from britain to india in the 19th century with extra hops to serve as a natural preservative on the long journey?

India Pale Ale.

The history/ lineage of beer is fascinating to me. Of course the adventures of yhe taste buds adds to the fun.

One of my electives was History of Beer and Wine from the Rest/ Hotel Management program at Tech. I did not really drink beer before that, at least not beyond an American lager or a Shiner. Class paid off in spades.

The 4 best of 2025 from Orher Half Brewing Co, all are absolute bangers. My favorites are the Blue Cheese and broccoli.

That's the amended Reinheitsgebot (yeast wasn't originally a formally-included ingredient), but I'll allow it.

Also, y'all need some Willi Becher glasses

What in the Gen Z fuck is this...?

This thread is mostly sucking so far. Get it together, idoits.

Here's my last beer before the beginning of mostly sober January, a few nights ago.

From a few posts above, What would get me to drink a bleu cheese beer? Hot wings, maybe?

I love beer. I love bleu cheese. They sound terrible together.
