Hey, I know that guy.
-
Putin knows the West will directly come gunning for him if he uses nukes, and China might smell blood in the water and act if they see him going down (it’ll be the best chance they have at reclaiming lost territories). Further, he will lose the ability to trade with any nation - nobody is going to trade with a nation using nukes to gain new territory, and risk the major economic powers embargoing them.

Fly home safely.

Could this be the craziest coaching carousel of all time?

Solid list. Cignetti and Fran Brown will get a lot of calls. Elko might too but he'll get a Jimbo-ish contract to stay. Fisch is in a good spot so I don't see him leaving. -

Good work, OL.

I was not a believer in Freeze. The dude was a classic dirtbag SEC idiot who cheated his ass off and still managed to lose stupid games every year, except for one great season at Liberty. Never put teams that were amazingly coached on the field. Without dropping bags and prostitutes he has no competitive edge. The platonic ideal of a failed Auburn corch TBH. -
sure but that was a physical "mistake" the OC compounded the issue with a mental mistake

Attacking apartment buildings, schools, hospitals, markets, that directly pisses people off. It motivates people. It does little to affect the military or the economy. Attacking oil and gas infrastructure hurts future military operations, hurts the economy. Fuel rationing for a population that is constantly told by state TV that they are winning…doesn’t feel much like winning, and if fuel restrictions increase, it will erode whatever faith is left in Russian leadership.

Just like Mullen refusing to get a decent defensive coordinator, resulted us losing the Alabama after scoring 40 points, and despite everyone saying, the defense has to get better or you will be gone, Mullins pride and hard headed in this got him fired. The entire fan base was calling for Billy to get an offensive coordinator because our offense and his play calling sucked and was extremely easy for defensive coordinators to prepare for what we were doing, Billy simply refused to give up his play calling. Our defense is good enough this year if you take away the numerous 3 and outs that always leaves them gassed at the end of the game. With all the money they can make, it always amazes me how a coaches ego can ruin a good thing. -
Crazy honky.

Worked just fine. Great call coach. whoa, not so fast

Can we bring back golf where pros don't use a 60 degree for everything around the green.

It’s a million if Bill decides to go coach elsewhere (like the NFL). But like $50 million if UNC were to fire him outright. It’s a very aggy-ish contract — he’s going nowhere. -
OK but it was still an "open case" and IMO the public at large isn't going to care anymore which means there will be no more docs and the police will be glad that there will be no more discussion about the false confessions and putting innocent guys on death row. now it will be a "closed case" just like when they finally ID'd the guy who did the Pizza Hut/Guadalupe murder.

That is an interesting decision to not go for it. Let's see how that works.

Well that putt by DC kind of sums it all up.

Brian Kelly has a near-Jimbo level buyout, like $50mm, so I don't think that happens. Michigan, USC, TCU are probably safe too. Solid chance Aranda is out at Baylor. He was on the bubble last year so another bad year probably gets him canned. Auburn is an interesting one. I thought Freeze would do well there but hasn't happened. Stanford currently has an "interim" head coach Frank Reich so I assume they look for a permanent one. He isn't exactly crushing it anyway. On the other side - Fran Brown is going to be a popular name. He claimed he was at Syracuse for life when hired but we'll see... Lastly - can Sark hire Pittman as an analyst to help with the OL? Please? -
That hole pretty much sums up the whole thing.
