  2. I was a little over-excited with this post. Somehow I temporarily forgot about how the people who run these things don't actually watch the games, but just see scores. If an unbiased person actually watched the Cheezit Bowl, they would discover that the refs gave Michigan the two TDs and we dropped one TD. Give Michigan 6 points-FGs - for the two botched TD calls, and give us a receiver who catches the TD pass. Margin of victory is then 29(14 + 8-the two FGs instead of TDs + 7-caught TD pass). This Texas team was four TDs better than that Michigan team? National media would not believe that. But then on the back end take one TD from us because we are then taking it easy in the 4th quarter and the margin is now 22 points, far below UTSA's 37 point bowl victory, but still one of the best margins of victories this bowl season, not counting the minor league vs big league playoff games. Had the voters noticed a 22 point victory, then we are looking at about a #5 or #6 ranking, which means the voters will actually vote us no higher than #7. I see us being ranked #7 or #8. In reality, this Texas team is 3 TDs better than this Michigan team, and this is another year of Big10 supposed greatness. When was the last time a time that is 3 TDs better than the opposition is also called for 12 penalties over 100 yards AND the Texas fans have almost grown to accept that Texas will almost ALWAYS be called for more penalties than the opposition??? Also, if a casual voter had tuned into certain parts of the network broadcast, they would have heard all about how great Bryce Underwood looks and how great Kyle Whittingham is for taking the Michigan job, etc. and heard 0, I mean 0 about how the Texas defense is doing great things with these interceptions. We had 3 interceptions!!! But you would have never known that watching the national broadcast. Btw, BYU won their bowl game by 3 points.

  4. Let's celebrate a win: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2025/12/29/case-dismissed-carlitos-parias-tiktok-creator-shot/87951244007/#:~:text=Olguin%20dismissed%20the%20case%20with,while%20being%20held%20in%20detention. A federal judge has dismissed the charges against a Los Angeles-based TikTok creator who was accused of assaulting an officer before being shot by a federal agent during an immigration enforcement operation, court records show. U.S. District Judge Fernando M. Olguin dismissed the case with prejudice Dec. 27. That means prosecutors cannot refile the same charges against Parias. The judge cited constitutional violations in his decision, saying Parias was deprived of his access to counsel while being held in detention. Olguin also noted that the government did not comply with discovery deadlines, including the release of body camera footage of the shooting. The footage, which was captured by a camera worn by the officer who shot Parias, was released on Dec. 10, five days after the deadline. "By delaying production of the body camera footage, the government eliminated any possibility for the defense to review the footage with Mr. Parias," Olguin wrote. "And with each passing day, the ability of defense counsel to meet with their client and prepare for trial was further undermined, resulting in even more prejudice to defendant."

  7. I’m excited to see Bo Barnes under Muschamp. That kid is thick and quick.
  8. I'm old enough to remember when handing off to the same TE went for a TD against the mighty national title contending fighting texas aggies.
  9. If he can fix his mechanics on those short simple throws(slants/crossers/wide open guys sighing in a zone) he’ll win the heisman next year and go down as the best one for sure imo. Hes so fucking good at so many things already. The things most QBs struggle with. Pocket awareness Keeping the play alive. Not taking off at the first sign of trouble. Playmaking. It’s the simple things that still nap at him…but if he works on that the sky’s the limit.
  10. Here we go again. Let's post 'em and hold ourselves to account. I'll start: Run a 5k Read 6 books Break up with South Austin's mom. (It's time) What you got?
  11. Since the days of The Pirate and Gap Kid plundering aggy, I'm not sure there's been a good day to pull for the tortilla flingers. Today's not one, either.
  12. W-Why would he step DOWN from Texas to go to another program? This isn’t Oregon. Or even Aggy. Where Penn St may be equal or Michigan a better job. Texas is one of the top 3-5 jobs in college. And a lot say the top spot. Like how is this a serious post? Of course no one came to him. He’d never leave for another college job. Wow what a dumb take.
  13. McDonald and the young DBs were really fucking physical last night.
  14. This week I drove 1000 miles alone in the car with just the kids. What a beating, but also man they did great. Saw some cousins, saw Aladdin, pointed out some stuff that she didn’t care about at all. Ate Korean hot dogs. and also had my biggest old man moment trying to explain how excited I would have been about this bigass balloon back in my day
  15. Is there a thread or discussion going on Trump's fuckery with mailing? They're changing the postmark rules to no longer mark when received and instead mark when sorted. It's a change chasing mail in voting but it's gonna have MASSIVE repercussions for tax and legal processes to which previously relied on postmark dates. Oh, and CBP is no longer accepting REAL ID as a validation of citizenship and if you're brown they're looking for any reason to handcuff you. Oh, and he's defunding childcare in Minnesota because MAGA troll and his masked goons was denied entry into a daycare. So it's obviously fraud.

  17. The same people that were frothing at the mouth how Elon and Trump would save FREEZEPEACH now don't give a shit over the federal government punishing people for their inconvenient opinions and how Twitter is even more of a right wing propaganda machine than it used to be. It's almost like they didn't really care and were just excited to have a socially acceptable cudgel to swing around
  18. Yeah, I had to look that up. Announcing crew sucked.
  19. Free speech means that state forces you to start a student organization.
