  1. He took the phrase “kick ass and take names” too literal.
  2. Yikes... Gin-u-wine Texas A&M University Aggies Bonfire Ashes - Yours for only $99.99 plus tax & shipping!
  3. Iowa State is Milton’s Paradise Lost.
  4. Holy shit. HA! Loser Takes All is a great book, can’t wait for the sequel!
  5. I think Chet is way tougher than he looks, not an injury risk and he’ll fill out when working out becomes his job. I think Bacnhero is a great fit with Green, I’d love it. Play styles would be very complimentary.
  6. Maybe everything!!
  7. Some days we show up and look like Champions League, some days we show up and look like relegation. Unreal.
  8. Did you hear what Jim Rome said about aggy?
  9. Bama is and will be good, Thompson was not good. Let us all move on, please.
  10. Finished with LSU OL who plays both tackles and set LSU record for games started, and Oregon State’s TE who I guess is another big physical guy so obviously we’re going on a certain direction here. This is the direction the 49ers and Ravens have typically taken in my mind, so that’s encouraging. Caserio says they plan to sign 10-12 UDFA.
  11. And the best way to draw free agents is to win. So maybe set the stage for that for next offseason. Won’t be a big draw this year but hopefully the pieces start to come together in the fall.
  12. It’s a dumb Walker Little joke. I didn’t go to Episcopal either. Regardless, like this pick. If the Tigah pans out, this will be a very good draft. Let’s get an edge rusher to close.
  13. I have classes with Thomas Booker. He wore a Texans shirt to Stanford yesterday. Take that for what it’s worth.
  14. Scouting report from Lance Zierlien: Overview It's a fun afternoon of tape study watching Pierce play the game like a coiled spring ready to explode on each snap. He's an urgent runner with twitchy downfield burst, tackle-breaking leg drive and outstanding balance through contact. He reads and reacts to block development quickly and creates additional yardage with both power and subtle shiftiness. Pierce was highly productive (16 total touchdowns) in 2021 despite an embarrassingly low usage rate by the coaching staff. He has plenty of tread left on the tires and fits into any run-blocking scheme as a quality future starter or member of a RB tandem.
  15. True, but just following up on my idea of going DT and DE today. If we do that, we could go any combo of offense with other three picks and have set solid foundation.
  16. Also it doesn’t do fuckall if you have great DBs or LBs if you can’t stop their OL or pressure their QB. We must be feeling super good about our current DL situation… and not sure how we could be…
  17. Picks today: 4th - 107 5th - 166, 170 6th - 205, 207 Needs: OL, RB, TE, DL, DE I wouldn’t mind going heavier on OL and DL and going free agent with RB and TE. Plenty of good free agent RBs out there, and it’s not a year in which we will be expecting to compete for anything major so no reason to start the clock or the carry-count on a long-term RB.
