  1. Never mind the safety risks to the family residents of the neighborhood, their quality of life and property.
  2. A retired Vegas friend who has taken up photography as a serious hobby in recent years is vacationing in Yosemite. He does a lot of the computer/filtering with his photos.

  7. Finally found a photo of Jeep, the only cat we have ever had - “inherited” him from our son who had given him to his future wife. She couldn’t keep him and returned him to our son who was living in an apartment with 3 of his college buddies. Naturally, Jeep wound up with us when son & girlfriend married in 1991. I had never been a cat person, but of course Jeep, a Maine Coon breed, “adopted” me as his best friend and crawled all over me at odd hours of the day & night. He lived to age 17, almost 15 of those years with us. He was the biggest cat I ever saw - “only” 18 lbs, but could easily stand on his hind legs and reach up to grab something off the dining table if we weren’t watching. Jeep was a good cat, and I miss him.
  8. Nope, we lived east of I-35 and north of Braker Lane.
  9. Found some more pics of my 1974 MGB - owned it from 1990-2000 when I sold it with only 44,000 on the clock. A collector from Dallas bought it for $6,000.
  10. Loved my basic little 1991 4-banger S-10 with A/C & 4-speed stick. Son wrecked it in 1997.
  11. Better put some “watch out below” warning signs around that site.
  12. Just what the State of Texas needed….another law school. 🙄 And those selfish country clods tried hard to torpedo Tech’s effort to build a desperately needed new veterinarian school.

  17. The husband leans over and asks his wife, "Do you remember the first time we had sex together over fifty years ago? We went behind the village tavern where you leaned against the back fence and I made love to you." Yes, she says, "I remember it well." OK, he says, "How about taking a stroll around there again and we can do it for old time's sake?" "Oh Jim, you old devil, that sounds like a crazy, but good idea!" A police officer sitting in the next booth heard their conversation and, having a chuckle to himself, he thinks to himself, I've got to see these two old-timers having sex against a fence. I'll just keep an eye on them so there's no trouble. So he follows them. The elderly couple walks haltingly along, leaning on each other for support aided by walking sticks. Finally, they get to the back of the tavern and make their way to the fence The old lady lifts her skirt and the old man drops his trousers. As she leans against the fence, the old man moves in... Then suddenly they erupt into the most furious sex that the policeman has ever seen. This goes on for about ten minutes while both are making loud noises and moaning and screaming. Finally, they both collapse, panting on the ground. The policeman is amazed. He thinks he has learned something about life and old age that he didn't know. After about half an hour of lying on the ground recovering, the old couple struggle to their feet and put their clothes back on. The policeman is still watching and thinks to himself, this is truly amazing, I've got to ask them what their secret is. So, as the couple passes, he says to them, "Excuse me, but that was something else. You must've had a fantastic sex life together. Is there some sort of secret to this?" Shaking, the old man is barely able to reply, "Fifty years ago that wasn't an electric fence."
