UPDATE: I start a new job on Wednesday. It was kind a lucky whirlwind. A friend reached out to me about a job that a recuiter had contacted her about. She also told me about an opening with her company but "wasn't sure if I be interested" because it was a junior role within her area. After talking more about the role I was hooked. Sent my resume and her boss reached out to me that day. A couple of rounds of interviews and I got the offer 10 days ago.
I do have to pass a regulatory exam and studying has been, uh, interesting. It's been years since reading and retaining this amount of info in a short period of time. The physical textbook is 650 pages long but fortunately there is an lon-line version with some on demand modules too. A lot of it is stuff I've learned from my career but it gets into the weeds on broker-dealer, agenet and investment adviser info. Keeping exempt and exluded securities, transactions and advisers straight is a buttkicker.
So here goes nothing!
