  1. VD situation is a bit of a minefield out there, or so I’ve heard.
  2. Not sure what you mean by “real fans” these days. I was there at the beginning. I stayed with the Mavs when Kiki refused to come. I stayed in when Derek Harper dribbled out the clock. I stayed in when Tarpley relapsed. I stayed in when Donaldson got hurt. I stayed in when Randy White didn’t pan out. I stayed in for the whole of the 90’s. I stayed in for every bad beat and trade that didn’t work and lost free agent and defection and every tough break, and there were lots. I’ve been through everything for 45 years and never wavered, but all that is changed. It’s all different now. .
  3. Imagine thinking that the FBI should be able to track pizza purchases but not private gun sales.
  4. “We got to the championship games” Authentic hoopspeak
  5. I hope it yields a good result, and this isn’t my area of expertise. But I’m not sure how removing independent external experts makes the decisions of public bureaucracies better.
  6. “Dear Penthouse Forum, I never thought this would happen to me. I am an NIH-funded biomedical scientist with conservative leanings…”
  7. “leadership” ”it’s never easy to make a tough decision” ”destination resorts” ”trust” ”better for the future” ”North Texas” and this gem from the moderator, who is a genius ”this is good for everybody” I can’t I don’t even
  8. So instead of consulting with global public health partners and independent advisors we got an in-house decision from the bureaucracy from behind closed doors? I’m glad a recommendation was made in time but this seems like pretty bad process
  9. It’s Kelly vs that crazy Florida lady that was trespassing in the Moody Center.
  10. What a revolting joke, I love it.
  11. Screw the Drake!
  12. It was a story in the Paris newspaper Le Figaro about a no-go zone, not a no-go zone in a place in Paris called “Le Figaro.”
  13. Apparently this was on the video board in San Antonio last night.
  14. My downstairs bathroom was a “no-go zone” after the last time I had one of those. I regret nothing.
  15. I didn’t know where else to put this
  16. Looks like Bremen is missing some musicians
  17. It’s great, right? Let me put it this way- I also knew a prominent member of the Pay Pal mafia growing up and I think the stuntman is more of a success story.
  18. As a Mavs fan, I would trade your future for ours and throw in Davis and a protected ‘29
  19. Back in Dallas a good friend of mine in high school always said he was going to be a Hollywood stuntman. Had zero other ideas and no interest at all in going to a four year college. In school he was always doing pratfalls down stairs and whatnot. He was a bit of a goofball, but had a great attitude and when people laughed at him, he would laugh along. After high school he took a few classes at Richland college to make his mom happy but went to work at Medieval Times as a squire- literally shoveling horse shit part time. In a couple of years, he worked his way up to knight, and about a year after that he got a job at Six Flags in the Batman stunt show. He did so well there that they sent him to an overseas park in the offseason, and after moving through that system for a while he goes out to California. Fast forward twenty five years to the present and he’s in his third decade as one of the top stuntmen in Hollywood. He’s the only guy I know who became exactly who they always wanted to be. Medieval Times, man.
  20. What are the chances that the chant will get going at the Rangers home opener?
