  1. And also because vaccines aren’t 100% effective in every person that gets them. And some people have other health conditions that prevent them from being able to take particular vaccines. People in both groups die because of moronic anti-vaxxers.
  2. Keef and 956, maybe just agree to disagree?
  3. Will it though? I get why that seems logical at a glance, but that’s gotta be a massive portion of the overall usage. Can’t find any recent source, but as of a few years ago it was calculated that about 25% of the subreddits are NSFW. Doesn’t look like there’s any way for the public to determine how much traffic goes through those subreddits though. I’d guess it’s a significantly higher percentage, but I have no data to back that up. Either way, even if it’s only 25%, that would dramatically decrease shareholder value. I certainly wouldn’t want to be on the board of a company when it intentionally removed 25% of its value. Tumblr, Imgur, and probably others have shown this is a devastating decision.
  4. Nearing 3” here, but fucking cockshit gotdamn roof has another fucking leak. That’s the 6th godfuckingdamn leak in 3 years on a roof that’s about 5 years old
  5. Stop saying stupid shit. It makes y'all sound stupid and your idea is shit.
  6. I’ve got so much wood from that storm I started burning it almost immediately. It’ll all burn eventually if you’ve got hot coals.
  7. For firewood, I think you’re fine now. For cooking, probably want to wait until spring/summer. But I’d just toss a few logs on a fire and see how they burn.
  8. I believe those are similar to fitted sheets and can be removed for cleaning. The seat belt is attached to the chair frame which appears to be fully intact. At least that’s what I’m going to tell myself.
  9. Are they winning just because nobody else is participating? None of that shooting seems the least bit impressive
  10. Yeah, I was just referring to the Gaza Strip being dry
  11. Good luck telling a bunch of Irish soldiers they're going to be stationed in a place where alcohol is outlawed.
  12. There's usually only one bailiff in the courtroom. They're rarely ever very close to the judge either. He actually shows up at the 24 second mark of the longer video above and you can see he's sitting down behind a partition, likely along the side of the courtroom. No chance he could've gotten to the judge quickly. The first guy that jumped up to help was either the court coordinator or reporter
  13. Cop handled that wrong on pretty much every level, but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say they’ve had plenty of encounters with that lady. I’m also going to assume her neighbors call in complaints frequently. She sounds like your typical meth addict that screams at children and anybody else she perceives to have slighted her. Also, it sounded like she mentioned them having previously pointed assault rifles at her. Cops clearly didn’t have a warrant, but this lady doesn’t seem to be even remotely sane.
  14. Think this is the first time I’ve managed this. That’s always my go-to second word if I have a complete miss. Daily Quordle 709 2️⃣3️⃣ 4️⃣5️⃣ m-w.com/games/quordle/ ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 ⬜⬜🟩⬜⬜ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 ⬜⬜🟩🟩⬜ ⬜⬜🟨🟩⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜🟩 ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 ⬜⬜🟨🟩⬜ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  15. Holy fuck what a beating that drive was. Almost 11 hours
  16. Manning’s is packed! Fulton is filling up. This is already gettin wild! Anybody with MVP should came say hi at the designated area in Fulton’s. Here with Imma if any of yall want to meet our fearless leader in person
  17. The pleasure was all yours! But I’m glad you got to meet me. See you mañana, bud!
  18. What does this even mean? Are you implying that due to their wealthy alumni base, they’d immediately become a powerhouse? We have quite a wealthy alumni base as well, many of which already care a shit ton about sports, but most of them still don’t contribute. It’d take a generation or two for a school like Harvard to begin competing in this space like the schools that already have an active fan base.
  19. To your second point, Burnt Ends pays walkons (or at least it has in the past). And TOF pays many non-scholarship athletes, especially in the non-revenue sports. That’s obviously not the same as paying 40 extra football players, but it’s theoretically possible if someone wanted to be insanely stupid with their money.
  20. Mother of god. Please don’t let random posters do the podcast. I have enough mini-strokes with RGBIII and Imma, and they have a very clear understanding of what not to say. The shit some of y’all spout on here - based on a complete misinterpretation of what those of us that actually know what we’re talking about - would have me curled up in a corner mumbling cheese puns.
  21. Man, good thing he didn't try that in a small town.
  22. My biggest suggestion, and I think we talked about this in person, is it’d be great if there was a way to toggle only to the most popular or most engaged posts on a thread. Some threads move fast and there are understandably duplicate posts and/or points of view. An original response may get repped a bunch, then 5 more people say the same damn thing and obviously don’t get repped. Plus we’re pretty damn good at getting wildly off topic. I’d imagine many folks don’t care to read those posts. You wouldn’t have to monitor threads, but if there was an option to change your thread-view to hide posts that don’t have reactions (good or bad), or only view posts with more than X number of reactions. When I fall far behind, I usually just scroll quickly through and only stop at posts that are highlighted as “popular.” If you could save the need to scroll for those, you could consume a lot more content in a shorter period of time.
  23. How big a ol' boy are ya? And what's your 40 time?
