  1. Love this pic of Angus, thinking about having it blown up for my music room.
  2. I guess the next Abbott masterstroke will be to pass a law to execute women who have miscarriages…
  3. Apparently there are coaches, teammates and many others that have a problem with Cam... Receiver Steve Smith took matters into his own hands after the Panthers were decimated by the New York Giants in Week 3 by telling Newton to learn from defeat and stop sulking (via ProFootballTalk): "I watched D.A. and Jimmy (Clausen), they don’t play in 20-something games last year. And they get up and they observe and learn and get those mental reps...I told him, ‘You can get some mental reps or you can sit on that bench and sulk.’" The jury is still out on whether or not Newton elects to receive the message. What he fails to realize is that his every action will now be placed under an enormous amount of scrutiny. For example, his alleged sulking in the locker room after a defeat that held up the team bus, according to Ed Werder on Twitter: Cam Newton held up team buses for long time while sitting in locker room alone and setting record most lotion applied post shower.Nfl — Ed Werder (@Edwerderespn) October 1, 2012 ------------------ Draft scout Nolan Nawrocki criticized Newton like no other draft prospect has been before. If you don’t believe me, take a look at the quotes from Nawrocki: “Very disingenuous — has a fake smile, comes off as very scripted and has a selfish, me-first makeup. Always knows where the cameras are and plays to them. Has an enormous ego with a sense of entitlement that continually invites trouble and makes him believe he is above the law — does not command respect from teammates and will always struggle to win a locker room … Lacks accountability, focus and trustworthiness — is not punctual, seeks shortcuts and sets a bad example. Immature and has had issues with authority. Not dependable.” ----------------- By Tim Kelly August 2, 2019 7:29 am DeAngelo Williams wasn’t shy about voicing his opinions during his 11-year NFL career, and whatever filter the ex-running back may have had during his career has become non-existent since he last played in the league in 2016. Williams infamously questioned the football credentials of Good Morning Football host Kyle Brandt, only for Brandt to remind him that he was a running back at Princeton. Friday morning, Williams shared some of his rawest opinions on Cam Newton, who he was a teammate with on the Carolina Panthers from 2011 to 2014. “He’s a good quarterback, he’s not great,” Williams said of Newton on The Mac Attack on Sports Radio WFNZ in Charlotte. “He’s a great football player, but he is a good quarterback.” ESPN’s Booger McFarland made headlines in 2017 for saying that “people he’s talked to in Carolina” questioned Cam’s leadership skills and didn’t think he was particularly well liked by “a lot” of his teammates. That’s a vague statement, but it’s part of a larger notion that questions Newton as the leader in the huddle, a notion that Williams didn’t go out of his way to dispel Friday. Williams then shockingly told WFNZ, “I don’t know, because things progress. But when I was there he was still young and the leadership fell under Steve Smith. That’s one of the reasons why they got rid of Steve. I can tell you this, though: the entire time that I was there, Cam Newton was never voted captain but he had a captain 'C' on his jersey when we stepped out on gameday.”
  4. Odds that they call holding on TB equal to Texas Lottery
  5. And not a single person in America thinks Brady won’t come back and win this game…
  6. I was curious, have they mentioned how old Brady is, how many seasons he has played, or how many rings he has yet? Have they said the phrase “when you’ve played as long as Brady has…”
  7. Cowboy will fly high like an eagle soars…(super old horn fans reference)
  8. Good god, like aggy follows any core values more than any other school. Unless that core value includes closet buggery…
  9. I’m glad we have more teams using the creative colors of black and white while using none of their school colors. I guess at some point every single team will have black on black unis, white on whites and gray on gray uniforms. Three distinct types of pajamas.
  10. I wonder that when mr and mrs south Austin were holding their new baby boy and pondering his future, thinking he might be president some day, or perhaps a Senator? I wondering if they ever thought he would write this…
  11. Does the good boy want a shower?
  12. Has the PGA given a list of the things you can say to BDC? He’s such a whiner, calling him Brooksie bothers him? If the fans called him the things they called Vijay and Colin Montgomerie he would curl up in a ball and suck his thumb…
  13. So the top six automatically make the Ryder Cup team. Stricker now selects six more from the following after Eastlake. Who do you choose if you picked today ? If I was coach I would stay away from guys who have played in a Ryder Cup but sucked, regardless of their current level of play on tour. Some guys thrive in that atmosphere like Poulter and Garcia regardless of their ranking on tour. Others, gag in this atmosphere and the US team always has too many of these guys, like Kuchar (1-7-1) in singles. Jimmy Walker etc. I would pick ice in the bloodstream guys regardless of current ranking as my picks. Last time the captains picks were 2-10-0 with only Finau winning points, thats pathetic. Without thinking I would go: Spieth, Schauffele, Scheffler, Reed i think is out due to illness, if not, he is added although I hate him. Then it gets tougher for me. 4) Finau, deserves it and is 2-1 in Ryder Cup he chokes quite a bit but I’m comfortable with this pick. 5) Kisner - great match play guy and liked in the locker room. Ice water guy. 6) Horschel - not a fan but is a good match play guy, fiery and I think would thrive in that atmosphere. Close but Out: Simpson - good player but only 4-4-1 in Ryder cup appearances. Not good enough. Berger - want to add him, maybe instead of Horschel but he seems like a nice guy who might get overwhelmed in that atmosphere. The list: 7. Finau 8. Schauffele 9. Spieth 10. English 11. Reed 12. Berger 13. Simpson 14. Scheffler 15. Kokrak 16. Burns 17. Horschel 18. Kisner 19. Na 20. Mickelson
  14. Who’s trash, Rory, Justin Rose or Bryson?
  15. I still can’t root for Bryson, hope we win and he fails
  16. You simply do what 99.9% of the other pros do and step back and reset. That’s exactly what Bones said you should do, said he had never seen that before. You don’t call out a guy on national TV like that. Except if you’re the biggest douche on the planet with apologizes to Baker Mayfield.
  17. Dechump: “Cantley, quit walking!” This guy is such an asshole
