  1. whacks off
  2. Took my dog to the vet, and the female vet tech tries to take my dog's temperature the way one does with a dog. My dog was not having it, and starts whining and shimmying forward to avoid the intrusion. Trying to calm him down, I soothingly say "It's OK buddy, that would agitate me, too." Except that is not what actually came out of my mouth. What I actually said was "It's OK buddy, that would excite me too." I did not speak another word to the vet tech during that visit.
  3. If I were still a federal employee, I would have definitely added that.
  4. Every single response should have been this: Redesigned org chart due to short notice personnel losses Pushed out all service and product delivery schedules to account for unplanned manpower losses Pushed out all service and product delivery schedules to account for unplanned budget shortfalls Prepared and sent communications to all recipients of said services and products notifying them of the schedule delays and service reductions Developed this list Or alternatively: Planned my country's 500th anniversary Arranged my wedding Murdered my wife Framed Guilder for it I'm swamped
  5. I see you. Did CBT for six sessions last year for this same issue and came out with some tools to help break the mental spiral once it starts. Had a couple instances after therapy where I started to get that familiar feeling and those tools helped me get through it quickly and recover a calm state of mind. Very happy with my results. Hope you have the same. Also, super sour warheads can trick the brain out of a panic spiral by grounding your focus on the extreme sour taste.
  6. That oppo shot from Cam Smith looked very Correa-ish.
  7. First it was loose seals and now birds?
  8. Lynne Marie Stewart (78) - Charlie’s mom on It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Now to cross threads with the I can’t believe that’s the same actor thread, she also played Miss Yvonne on Pee Wee’s Playhouse.
  9. Good discussion, but the real takeaway is that we still don't have enough info from the outside looking in to determine level of fault for either vessel. In a maritime collision, admiralty courts have repeatedly determined that fault is always shared. This guy knows what I am talking about...
  10. I say we burn it all down and piss on the ashes.
  11. ESPN and MLB ending current broadcast deal after this season.
  12. She has a bit of Sloth happening here. Or maybe she has a chaw in?
  13. I guess we really did have him all wrong. This is totally normal and we should all completely support him in his comeback efforts.
  14. You are conflating auto-pilot data with FSD data. They are different. I stated that there have been two confirmed fatalities associated with FSD in over 2.5 billion miles driven by FSD vehicles. That's all I said. Nothing more, nothing less.
  15. So this is it, huh?
  16. I get that a lot of us are feeling hopeless and beat down over the last three months and especially the last few weeks, but c'mon man.
  17. Seriously though... by the time it is observable again in 2028, we should be able to determine location and timing of strike and then weigh the cost-benefit of intervening to modify trajectory or evacuating the impact site. There is absolutely no reason that this should kill millions of people.
  18. Well Buenos Aires isn't on that line, so we can rule out the bugs.
  19. That’s the way the world goes ‘round.
  20. I hope that everyone who ever mentioned/suggested/advocated trading away starting pitching last year or the year before spends some time marinating with this graphic. To paraphrase the great baseball mind of General George S. Patton: "No bastard ever won a pennant by trading away his starting pitching. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard trade away his starting pitching."
  21. Not feeling the enthusiasm this year. Maybe playoff/success fatigue is setting in?
