  1. Few things make me prouder of my sippy degree than knowing we're a bad culture fit for the SEC.
  2. I know which baskets OU's golden eggs are in, but what actually would keep Texas from competing with them for a given player in any sport? Sounds like we're just conceding much of the top softball talent to our biggest rival, which on the surface is puzzling. For one thing, a Director's Cup could easily hang on the performance of a women's team. But maybe no Texas softball supporter with major resources actually cares that much.
  3. Couldn't Texas presumably beat any NIL deal? Would seem just a matter of prioritizing it. OU of course has been outspending everyone else, but Canaday's the perfect player for us to make a statement with. She'd look pretty good in a Lambo.
  4. Not fooled there, but bad luck. Let's go, Stewie!
  5. Crooked number here would drop my BP about 40 points.
  6. Great work, Teagan. I'm a nervous wreck watching her constantly fall behind, but she's a bulldog.
  7. Guess I could hang around and see what happens. But I've been awake since about last midnight Seattle time and think I know how this one's going to go.
  8. Well, maybe Pena can pass that sombrero down the dugout to Tucker here in a couple innings.
  9. Looks solid. Not a sprinter, but makes dudes miss and runs hard. There's always room for one of those guys.
  10. We certainly had a better record with him batting 2nd. Of course, most around him were hitting well, so who knows? I'm almost willing to draw the first four out of a hat at this point. I mean, provided Bregman's not in that grouping.
  11. Guys that tall make RT look too short. Do not want.
  12. Despite how streaky and unreliable history shows Pena to be, I'd be tempted to try him behind Tucker and slide Alvarez back a spot. Even if only for a few games. Anything to shift the dynamic of this mess behind Tucker.
  13. Three miserably bad ABs. Only Tucker's was even a mild surprise.
  14. Quality start for Framber...against all odds.
  15. First-place home team hosts bitter division rival on a holiday evening and can't put 25K in the seats. Impressive support.
  16. Framber settling in as Miller's looking worse is a doubly positive trend. At least we're now competitive and not spectating.
  17. Unfortunately for about 2/3 of our lineup, Miller doesn't have the look of a slump buster.
  18. What's worse than a failed high-dollar free agent signing? Not admitting your mistake and moving on.
  19. Hard to fathom Tucker getting anything to hit these days.
  20. As I sit here watching Josh Bell hit a double and then make a good play at first base, I'm far from gruntled.
  21. I want Texas to win the title, of course. But if we don't, I hope UCLA does. And then dedicates it to Bill.
