  1. At what point does McDonald's and other companies that rely heavily on beef not go all-in on buying up a shitload of farms and ranches and growing their own, like Tyson? (For all I know McDonald's, etc. may already do that).
  2. The US Air Force has signed a $26 million contract with Lockheed Martin, which will be an important step in supporting Ukraine's F-16 fighter jet acquisition program. Under this agreement, which will last until May 2029, special technical instructions tailored to Ukraine's unique needs and conditions will be developed, and the training program for ground personnel will be modified. These documents, better known as "technical manuals," are crucial for the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and repair of the aircraft. They will take into account the specifics of local infrastructure, limitations on deploying aircraft at operational airfields, and other unique features, continuing the transition from outdated Soviet-era aviation to more modern Western fighters.
  3. Denmark is going to start shooting them down apparently, as long as it's not over a populated area. A lot of people don't understand that they aren't shooting them down now partially because they want to see where they return to. I've seen people speculate that it's Russian subs launching and recovering them, but there's so much civilian commercial traffic flowing through that area, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a cargo ship. I don't see the Russians wanting to get their subs that close in.
  4. Imagine that you do something that gets Marjorie Taylor Greene and Joe Rogan out there publicly showing some actual common sense and saying extremely rational things.
  5. I believe in free speech and I believe it must be protected. Even speech that I don’t like and disagree with, and believe me I’m the victim of lots of hateful and untrue speech, but I still believe Americans have the constitutional right to free speech. And most importantly, Americans must retain the right of free speech to criticize their own government and any other government. And I say this as one, who is not only the victim of hateful lying speech, but also as one who had my free speech rights violated when the government told Twitter to permanently ban my personal Twitter account “mtgreenee” in Jan 2022 because I harshly criticized Covid vaccines and mandates. No matter which party is in charge of the government, the government NEVER has the right to take away free speech. And it’s up to YOU, Americans, to never allow your government to take away your constitutional rights. YOU are really in charge, you just have forgotten. ——- MTG making sense And Joe Rogan was saying something similar about the Kimmel situation, and that MAGA better watch it, because if they get comfortable with government leaders calling for censorship, what happens when the other party is in control.
  6. People are speculating off of ships and the pattern is all over Denmark
  7. He’s trying to scare Trump. Or tie up NATO air defenses.
  8. Armenia and Cambodia are not trading fire today.
  9. That’s a shitload of oil production, and no way they have it back up in November. Don’t need to sanction oil buyers if they can’t get it in the first place.
  10. @PTINS you might find this interesting. Hitting oil export infrastructure from the sea.
  11. Same. I thought there was some scandal in the judging or something.
  12. Sounds like they’re really starting to dial things in. I’m guessing they’ve got analysts who are looking at the whole picture. Like what regions are affected, what facilities downstream are affected, etc. Someday this will be a niche strategy game where your goal is to cripple the Russian economy by taking out various parts of their oil and gas infrastructure.
  13. There’s not that many Tesla Robotaxis out there. Yet.
  14. This is probably why. Ukraine continues to pound away at infrastructure critical to the Russian economy and military while Russia flails about at Ukrainian apartment buildings.
  15. Being confirmed by Russian leadership @PTINS one of those areas, this is apparently the second time in a few days so I’m guessing they have solid intel on what damage they did the first time and then did a follow-up.
