  1. She's a 51 year old country singer that hasn't been relevant in a decade and a half. So, yeah, of course she's MAGA.
  2. I guarantee that any casual fan tuning into our games has no idea our RB room has been decimated, which has to be the greatest compliment a position coach can receive. Take a bow, Tashard.
  3. Everything you said is correct, but I cannot get over the fact that we have a system where the LEADER OF OUR COUNTRY might be determined by how many people in a handful of states decide to vote for a guy who has said he no longer is running for President. An indictment on both the system and the citizens of this country.
  4. Lovett is easily the most famous person they've had on a while, but curious if it's the type of fame where people stranded on an island would even recognize him (or if it would have any impact at all if they did.)
  5. Seems obvious to me at this point that this Nate Silver stuff is intentional, and “but Nate Silver’s polls said!!” will be cited as a key piece of evidence of election impropriety when Kamala wins.
  6. Fuck that. Purchasing a gun should come with the implied agreement that it will not come into anyone else’s hands. If you are worried that you cannot hold up this end of the bargain, then you shouldn’t buy a gun.
  7. This clip really is the perfect encapsulation of the difference between the two parties. Sure, the “weird” meme evolved into everyone on the internet laughing at JD, but it started with Walz pointing out how *weird* the policies are that Republicans support. I could be mistaken, but I do not believe “weird” has ever been used by either of the candidates as describing anything other than Republicans as a group or Republican policies. Trump, however, uses “weird” as a pure personal attack. It’s not an observation, it’s simply bullying, and it completely misses the original message and why it hit so hard the first time everyone heard it. The two choices in a nutshell.
  8. He seems like a nice kid but Victor Shi is basically just liberal catturd.
  9. Ignoring the fact that he is referencing an incredibly poorly rated pollster to draw this conclusion, "Setting aside the recent good polls, there just hasn't been much positive state polling lately" is an objectively insane statement.
  10. He would be, but it wouldn’t be a 2024 merit-based decision.
  11. It is a good reminder that many of the people claiming Elko was the next big thing aren’t actually informed enough to even know what he looks like and just parrot what Liucci, etc. tell them.
  12. Whitley is finding professional success for the first time in like five years, so of course we have morons (not you putt) immediately wanting to move him back to the rotation.
  13. “Come to Texas A&M, where you can sacrifice your body and likely take literal years off your life, and we will reward you with public accusations of drug abuse if you lose a big game!”
  14. I’ve kept my DTV subscription largely due to laziness, but yeah - this will be the last straw for me.
  15. Incredible, and the type of thing that can definitely go viral.
  16. “One of the good ones…” incredible.
  17. Something, something, Kamala flip flop.
  18. Bregman got ejected so hard that he's missing two games.
  19. They are both too skilled of politicians to ever appeal to the MAGA base. They both would recognize the need to try and bring in moderate voters and there is no greater sin to the red hatters.
  20. After this morning, petition to add another 'f' to 'find' in the thread title.
  21. I'd argue there's no school in the country whose reputation has been more negatively affected by sports than the University of Miami. It's a fine school, on par with Pitt, GWU, and Syracuse (and ranked above Tulane, Rutgers, and Colorado School of Mines) but the general demeanor of the football team over the last few decades has most people thinking its a typical southeast party school.
  22. It's pretty funny to watch him say "we programmed the model to negate any polling bumps post DNC Convention, and now that our model is doing what we told it to do, does that mean trouble for Harris???"
  23. Not important but this is a very strange way to learn that there’s another Kate Upton.
