Texas basketball '21-'22: Welcome Chris Beard
Vince Lombardi also said that, or at least Jerry Kramer wrote it in some of his books.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2022 - Idiotic Slapfights Unrelated To 2022 Recruiting
Hamilton and Burton say that Cristobal will be coming down to see Banks play this week. Supposedly Oregon is concerned about us (and aggy) continuing to recruit Banks.

Texas Football 2021 In-Season Thread: Can we get a redo?
After two straight tough road games for us, and gives Gundy time to study every little detail of every game we've played so far. Splendid.. It scares you to death.

Game Week- Louisiana
Us leaving the Big 12 is going to amp up the hostility for all our road games (TCU, Baylor, Iowa St, and West Virginia). Arkansas may still be the worst, but I bet those WVU fans will be hopped up on their "Mountain Dew" when we go over there.

If you think that is bad, a certain Austin sports writer with a degree from UT voted for Reggie Bush instead of Vince Young for the Heisman.

2021 Houston Astros Thread
Yes that was shocking news when it happened and it certainly felt like a death blow to their 1980 season. With JR they are in the World Series in 1980 and possibly 1981 as well.

2021 Houston Astros Thread
RIP JR, perhaps my favorite Astro ever. His stroke in 1980 is one of the lowest points in Houston sports history.

Texas basketball '21-'22: Welcome Chris Beard
So hilarious that we fired Shaka and hired Beard.

Your first football game as a Longhorn
First game as a student was against BYU in 87. We lost 22-17. We had eight turnovers, they had one. We also had a punt blocked for a safety.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2022 - Idiotic Slapfights Unrelated To 2022 Recruiting
Our athletic department is anything but miserly. We make a lot of money, but we spend a lot of money. Lots of mouths to feed on the payroll.

Realignment talk not going away
Luke Brock is a LB at UT. And yes, we like him. His twin OL brothers are at Bama.

Realignment talk not going away
I predict the following: Texas plays in the SEC in 2022 Brocks find Alabama tougher than their private school league Brocks want to transfer to Texas, but get turned down Brocks end up at SMU Profit

Realignment talk not going away
We were pissed because when Mizzou started flirting with the Big 10, we arranged a deal with the Pac 10 that included aggy but aggy blew up the deal at the last minute. Nebraska took the Big 10 slot that Mizzou wanted. Colorado went to the Pac 10. All the remaining Big 12 schools agreed to commit to the BIg 12. The Big 12 even offered an extra share of revenue to UT, OU, and aggy to remain in the conference. UT and OU declined, aggy took it. aggy then secretly negotiated with SEC to join them. In all the realignment escapades, we tried to include aggy. But they fucked up our chance to leave while making sure they had a way out.

Magic, Larry, and Michael vs KD, Steph, and LeBron
Two of your dudes quit their teams multiple times to find a better situation.

Magic, Larry, and Michael vs KD, Steph, and LeBron
That's a fair point. We know Steph and LeBron have the mental toughness. My third is kind of a pussy, but he doesn't have AIDS at least They have mental toughness, but not Jordan or Bird level.

Magic, Larry, and Michael vs KD, Steph, and LeBron
Would Curry be holding KD's hand the whole time? Curry would have his hands (and ears) full with MJ while Bird would be playing mind games on KD and Magic would be echoing and laughing at what his teammates would be saying. If they are using current rules, the young guys would be a man down after somebody loses their cool and throws a punch.
