  1. Witnessed my 3rd hole in one a few days ago - #2 at Great Hills (one of my own + two others). 128 yards, 54 degree, tight draw, land, spin left - boom. First one ever for this dude and then he proceeded to shoot a 32 on that 9. Was fun to watch! Best of all, we're playing $1/point Las Vegas and he's on my team. I par the hole so we score a 13. Other team goes 3 + 5 but birdie flips the digits and eagle doubles so they get a 106. Netted $93 on just that hole plus all the free drinks after. Shot a 91 on the day and did not give a fuck.
  2. Bit of a cop out - conveniently the most used criteria is OWGR top 50 and that's not gonna help the LIV dildos unless you're Cameron Smith. Not that I'm complaining one iota.
  3. Seb was great for this on his way out. Lewis is the only one now I think. Regardless of sport, no one will stand up to the ME countries and their deep pockets.
  4. That is the best real life example of "I get older, they stay the saaaaaame age" that I have ever seen.

    USMNT 2023

We're the program that thought it was a good idea to hold off on hiring a new coach for 9 months and let an interim coach try to guide us through WCQ. This wasn't a situation where we were blindsided by a 4am arrest because said coach strangled a family member - no, we knew this firing was coming, we knew this coach was underperforming, we knew he was not a good culture fit, and even still, our best course of attack was to have an interim coach for 9 months??? I have zero faith this program will ever do the right thing for the USMNT - they are merely after doing what's best for them individually, much like FIFA in general. The same mindset for how we ended up in a shithole like Qatar in the first place is the same mindset that led us to Gregg and will keep us there.

Squarely on Team Gio if for no other reason than I believe him when he says he's going to work on becoming a better person (which just naturally comes when you're no longer a 19 year old male) vs believing Gregg is going to change one iota.
  7. Given how important recruiting is to college basketball, Ivey feels like a stretch. There are so few realistic names that are actually exciting. Musselman, if you can call that realistic, is the closest.
  8. They're waiting for the Bonobos sale to drop next week to refresh their wardrobe. Beard just timed it poorly.
  9. Surely he is arraigned today and out on bond. Given we have a game tonight, there has to be a statement made by either him or the University well before that. It's not like he can just show up and coach today as if nothing happened.

GGG is talking about himself. Right?
  11. They put him in a fucking Uber to go to the hospital. They just wave their blatant disregard for life so brazenly in our face. Unbelievable, even for Qatar.
  12. $10 to whoever correctly picks @MNLonghornFUKM
  13. From a pure fan experience, I think the sprint races are great - more racing, more better. Increase the points for the sprint but no GP qualification. Both sprint and GP qualification set by one qualification session. Fri: FP1, FP2, parc ferme set. Sat: Qualification, Sprint Race Sun: GP That would be an epic Saturday with a lot of very meaningful racing.
  14. You signed up just to post this shit?
  15. Illinois won the game with individual plays. Not much team basketball. I'll take that every night and accept you get coolered some nights. Tonight we got coolered. I'll also take Hunter at the line with the game on the line every night. We're going to be just fine.
  16. That's 100% me as well - my kids get annoyed by my added sound effects.

  18. I'm in the camp that enjoys getting up early and watching the races live (most anyway). Nothing like watching cars blaze around in circles to get your bearings straight from a hangover.
  19. Yes, true. But Cameron Williams, S from UW.

Roberto Martinez. Pretty sure he has some free time on his hands these days. That being said, a national team coach has to be modest and flexible - it's not about them and their system, it's about the best Americans and what system they play and are most comfortable with. And then you, as a coach, have to develop something that suits your players - not the other way around. Both Klinsmann and GGG had a system and tried to shoe horn our players into it. Both failed similarly. Louis Van Gaal just embarrassed us because he understands this. Maybe Marsch is the answer, but only because his style fits our current team. I don't think he fits the description above (most club coaches don't, to be fair) so when our strengths change, would he adapt? I don't know.

    MUNDIAL XXII

I'm sorry, I think you meant a USA - Brazil semi.
  22. Might be the only thing that can stop Verstappen. Of course, he'll drop 5 spots and just get a star on the next question block and win anyways.
  23. USA +330 to win.... So tempting.....
