  1. The theme is guns are stupid and should be more heavily regulated because we as a society are far too dumb in general to wield them.
  2. Just got a text that they've already issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Travis.... Are they just testing the emergency broadcast system again because there ain't shit. Yet.
  3. But you never know when they're going to accidentally pull into my driveway, knocking on the wrong door looking for their brother, while holding a pom pom. Gotta play it safe and strap the fuck up!
  4. The next season of DTS will be released before the next race.
  5. 24 hours. Doorstep in 72 hours.
  6. They use UPS to ship to Texas - got my first batch of D9 no problem. They even send a lab report as well to prove it falls below the legal limits set forth by our wonderful state.
  7. I think this is where the problem lies - I don't think FA's believe they are in the service industry at all. I certainly don't put them in that bucket either. They hold way more power than a waiter at Denny's, for example. They're more like the lunch room lady from elementary school.
  8. Ordered the d9 nerd'z gummies. Started with half, moved up to a whole, then went to two at once. Half was nothing, one was minor though it did quite the number on my back pain. Two was a lot.. I was laying in bed convinced I couldn't hold my pee and I was about to wet the bed. Going to try 1.5 next time, see if that's the sweet spot. They taste fucking delicious though. If you have a candy addiction, be careful.
  9. You're asking a lot of good questions we don't know the answer to which makes it harder for me to understand why the default reaction is to defend the use of a gun vs letting police and the justice system to their job.
  10. Thieves are assholes and I hold ones stealing from a gun store particularly low. But death isn't the punishment for stealing, much less at the hands of random joe blow civilian.

Speaking of playing out of position as a makeshift fullback..... Weah has been starting a lot for Lille as of late. But not as wing or striker.... As a fullback, per the ESPN and Google lineups. Is that for real or does ESPN and Google have it mixed up?
  12. Yuengling farts are by far the most rank of beer based farts I've ever had.
  13. Mine is down 0.5%. Fucking yawn. Net appraised up the expected 10%. Edit: Travis County, NW Austin
  14. Fence failure.
  15. First hand he lost $75 as BB. Next hand, as SB, is what he wrote out (QT -> 98AJA). QT was the nuts until the A paired and now there is a chance for a boat or quads.
  16. Long gone. Avery Ranch is close to there though.
  17. Those fucking Kentucky Democrats and their lack of leadership.
  18. Agreed - the Sao Paulo sprint was great racing and highly entertaining and that's ultimately why I watch - to be entertained.
  19. Spieth also called out his slew of mental mistakes and owned them, attributing it to too much fatigue from continuous golf (8 of 10 weeks played, 9 of 11 after RBC this week). Said he's going to alter this schedule for next year to lighten the load around the majors. Spieth is rarely defensive. Even in his slump, he'd own the issues, answer the same question over and over and over, stay positive, etc... There are a number of other guys like that - Finau, JT, Colin, Rory, etc. Brooks is nothing if not defensive about everything and disingenuous at heart. He has to be one of my least favorite golfers in this modern, post-Tiger era.
  20. Can you share more on this? Morris looked as bought in as he could for a 5* getting 10 min a game. Hard nosed, high effort defense. Rarely tried to do too much on offense and had no interest in trying to be "the guy". Took his open shots when presented them, made a decent clip of them, and otherwise passed the ball to teammates. On paper, that doesn't scream "not a great fit with the coach" but obviously, a lot goes on behind the scenes that most of us aren't privy to.
  21. 4 of 5 LIV schmucks all huddled close together. Only DJ is still well received.
  22. Two of them use driver distance as a primary weapon. The rest are creative shot makers with a great short game. Yes driving it far helps. But this is not a course defined by driving distance. Davis Love III, BK, BDC, Champ, Finau, Woodland, List... There are so many bomb first players that do not do well at Augusta. But a strong short game is a common theme. Hell, even DJ was epic inside 100 and around the green when he won.
  23. It's not a bomber's course, it's an around the green course compared to other PGA tour courses. Driving it far is as important as approach and putting here, which are both 2nd to around the green. Driving accuracy is the lowest importance by a significant amount. That is not a bomber's course. Edit: This is also backed up by all the champions - really only DJ is what I'd call a bomber. The rest have a great all around game, especially around the green.
  24. You're doing everyone else a favor by taking BDC.
  25. There's only two major players for plane engines that big - GE and RR. Pratt and Whitney used to be one but really, anything commercial made by Airbus or Boeing these days and it has a GE or RR power plant. His plane likely has RR, legitimately.
