  1. Did they rehearse this? Like ever? Low point of Kevin Hart's career, right here.
  2. Madi, Rori, and Jordan need a vacation.
  3. ND making it is the biggest travesty of them all but I think them slotting ND at 10 and Miami at 12 sets the CFP up to right that wrong - BYU loses, that puts Miami and ND next to year other which justifies a flip due to the head to head. Doesn't really do us any favors but at least ND gets fucked. If they want to quiet the Texas hype train down, they just need to come out and say it - losses are more important than wins. That is the ONLY justification for ND and Miami being ranked ahead of Texas. If flies in the face of what they've said previously but if that's their stance now, so be it, but fucking own it so we can adjust accordingly. Stop persecuting Christians.
  4. I volunteer to lead the investigation.
  5. Champions league style qualification (kind of). The strength of your conference from the previous year determines how many bids you get for the following year. The smaller conferences are fighting for 1 bid. All other small conferences that didn't win the 1 bid? Win more this year, try again next year. Conference tie breaker rules determine the top teams that win the bids. No CCG. Fuck ND. Join someone.
  6. I think "giving a lesson" isn't what was really happening. I bet someone said "you look like you have a pop stroke" and he was just defending himself that he essentially dead hands it at impact with a super light putter.
  7. Just the away games that Fox covers (so this year and last).
  8. One of those is a legit reason to be left out while the other is a completely egregious and incredibly shitty for the game reason.
  9. Worse than Miami at #12, I think them moving Bama up to #9 ahead of ND is going to fuck us in the end. It's them sending a message that Bama won't drop out if they lose UGa - worst case, they'll swap with ND. I don't think there is anyway they drop ND out. So much love for that garbage resume. I don't get it.
  10. Are you in Austin? If so, I have a set of irons, 3W, and driver (head only for driver) I no longer need that I'll just give away. Cobra forged tec GW - 4i, Taylor Made M2 driver and 3W. Also, don't cheap on lessons. Cheap on clubs.
  11. That's not how odds in Vegas work.
  12. Drop someone for losing half their coaching staff then. Fuck them kids. /MJ
  13. The odds still aren't in our favor and won't be until the polls release at best. But the trajectory is stunning. +1500 to +420 is a massive swing for Vegas, especially when we're talking about over the course of an afternoon. That's mega money on Texas.
  14. Pretty telling just how bad A&M's schedule was - to have been undefeated in the final week of the season and still only have that much land.
  15. I think the most interesting outcome of this week's release will be where they put Ole Miss. If they show any kind of slide, it's like the CFP is tipping their cards that they are going to remove Ole Miss next week. That coupled with Texas at #12 as Klatt predicted would be real telling.
  16. We're all rooting for people to change their minds about the importance of certain losses vs wins. I'm hoping an extra week of contemplation will do the trick. Probably not enough, but like I said, it's what we got.
  17. No way TT loses to BYU. I think it's reasonable to assume to the CFP will at least rank Texas ahead of Utah, like the AP and coaches. We just need that one extra step of being ranked ahead of Miami or Vandy which isn't unreasonable. That puts us at #13. BYU gets trounced and hopefully Bama does as well. That then leaves the CFP deciding between a 3 loss recently trounced Bama, a 3 loss Texas, and Vandy which lost to Texas or Miami which didn't even qualify for the ACC title game. I would assume Bama is in with that scenario but it's the best we got.
  18. ... I feel targeted.
  19. UVa (and probably others) angling for Miami is what is going to fuck us, IMO.
  20. It's a small group of people deciding the CFP - they know each other's biases. It's human nature to take all that into account and no one is going to miss the Utah AD's bias.
  21. Vandy and Utah. I could see it happening. The CFP is a bit more rational than the AP or coaches.
  22. That was the difference between #4 and #5. We're asking for the difference between #7 and #13 here. Maybe it still applies, but it's a different magnitude.
  23. Lots of Aggie faithful around us but I'll hand it to them, they were all decent. They left early, as expected. We also were in the section right next to their band. There was 0 throwing of anything at them despite their consistent, deliberate attempts at overplaying the stadium hype music.
