  1. Sure and I did the trip with a few lifelong friends, spending time with them was gold. Like these fellas.
  2. It was a weapon of mass destruction identifying as the cause de jour. The common theme being the weapon, not the motive. Rinse, repeat, more dead people.
  3. Yeah that’s strange trip. Well thanks for the tax dollars.
  4. Well the catching wasn't so good with the wading trip, but getting the fuck out of Austin and getting reacquainted with gear I hadn't touched since last October was nice. Was a nice day, fish just didn't cooperate. Left Austin at 3:40 this morning, hit Oyster Lake out of Palacios at 6:45 (had to stop at Hruska's for a sack of breakfast), got back home at 3:50 this afternoon. Man I'm tired. Days total was 2 sand trout, a huge gafftop, too many oyster shells to count and that was pretty much it.
  5. I’m playing hooky Monday to go do some wading.
  6. If you’re in Austin you might try this place. http://www.austinrockyard.com/en/products/boulders/
  7. When I was about 11 or so I went with my friend and his dad to their deer lease outside Llano. We stopped at the Big Wheel in Oak Hill for breakfast. His dad was an old, crotchety man, like almost 60 at the time. And bald. My friend was trying to squeeze butter out of one of those plastic containers onto his pancakes, misjudged his squeeze power. The butter ejected with a pop, flew up and landed on his dads bald head. We sat there in deathly silence watching that little pat of butter slide down his dads sweaty bald pate, waiting for him to kill us. He calmly reached up with his napkin and wiped it off, and said “use your damned knife next time boy, or I will.”
  8. Same here, and why has no one recommended Ameros?
  9. They need to do away with that ramp and make that traffic go through the light at 360. The reason that section is so bad is people trying to get over from the ending toll lane to exit 2244, and then the Barton Skyway people getting on and trying to go three lanes to the left to exit 360.
  10. If they would just finish it south of the river it would help a lot more.
  11. Supposedly they are loaded with lead. We also had a set until recently.
  12. Quick and dirty chili cheese dogs and tots. Realized as I took the picture that I left the chopped onion on the counter. Fixed that after the photo. Alas, I had no jalapeños but yes, there was a cheese hinge.
  13. Normal up top and then just explodes from the waist down. Built like a hippity-hop. I’d bounce it.
  14. Actually Matagorda means thick bush. Hairy chicks.
  15. That would never work. Their motto (on road signs) used to be “You do the crime, you do the time, in Grimes County”.
  16. You using whole chicken thighs or boneless skinless?
  17. “Tap dat ass” water.
  18. Interesting - they could use expendable drones to deliver charged batteries to the guys with non-exependable drones.
  19. I’m pretty sure he’s saying they’re in cahoots with the Jews. Ya know, the jews, and the nigras, they are going to lay waste to us with hamster bones. Nevertheless.
  20. News flash. The coronavirus originated in China. Holy fuck, those chinese. Never mind they have half the worlds population, so if something IS going to happen, the likelihood it happens over there is like, none. Then top it off with the fact that if you fuck up in a research project, you cant say oh my bad.
  21. Chad Briscoe and berntass quoted you after you posted. I reckon you can figure out where SARS origninated. Also 2003.
  22. Ok, what are you going to do about it, Mr. Picking on Disney? You're not going to do a fucking thing, because you're impotent.
  23. Now we are getting somewhere. Where, I don't know but we are definitely on the way to getting somewhere. Aw fuck it.
  24. Yeah but his user name fits.
