  1. We, sadly had to say goodbye to our little Ellie. Elliebean, Beanie, Peepers, PeePee. She had a good run, was 16, but was battling some cognitive issues/doggie dementia...and recently had some seizure episodes, which the doc thought could be brain tumor. It sucked, but was the right call.
  2. Pit Room is good (my personal favorite in town), Brookstreet is not. Never heard of Citadel Would be a pretty walk through South Hampton. Take a walk down South Blvd for pic opps with the trees/ mansions etc..
  3. Wasn't sure where to put this, but a dude at the gym the other day had an aggy shirt that said Jesus had 12 men too across the back. What a weird bunch.
  4. High school best friends daughter got into McCombs. He's an aggy. His wife is an aggy.
  5. Probably about as many as it takes Wade Boggs
  6. Digging the post-show discussions with the cast/crew. Good insight.
  7. I keep them in my fridge, none have puzzles. had some while out on Saturday....no puzzles. Maybe something changed when they moved production to Houston?
  8. I love Lone Star. Sadly, the cap puzzles were discontinued....for now anyways. Sounds like someone got offended that an image of a noose was used in one of the puzzles (#71). They pulled all the puzzles for review and a refresh.
  9. Van Vleet is awful and pairing 2 streaky players in him and Green was a disaster last night. Dumb passes>Turnovers 50% from the FT line Curry going all vintage Curry against the Rockets was one of the least surprising things from last night.
  10. Do you guys get texts interrupting your bathroom sessions? "Where are you??" "Are you almost done?" wtf is that about?
  11. Wasn't sure where to put this but caught some vids of the Brothers from MSG. If those fuckers don't tour, it'll be a national tragedy. If they do tour and come anywhere near Texas, I will be there.
  12. Watched the 3rd episode last night. Holy shit. Typically I'm not one that pays enough attention to whether a performance is good or bad and only really notice if it's either really bad or really good. Even before Jamies first "blow up" with the therapist, I turned to my wife and said that kid is a good fucking actor. The tension in that room was palpable. And it's series like this that make me glad I don't have young kids in today's world.
  13. Brock Fitzhenry is somewhere taking exception to this.
  14. I've done this one before. Unfortunately this guys is in another department and part of the building, so I wouldnt get to watch his frustration grow like I did last time.
  15. Just curious if anyone out there is compiling stats/doing a study on the number of athletes that enter the portal and never latch on anywhere else. I saw a post on twitter that there are 10,000 football players in the portal across D1 (6,400) and D2. These have not bee independently verified. That's insane
  16. I park in the same spot at work everyday, regardless of other open spots. New-ish guys has started parking there. Keep in mind, we do NOT have assigned spots. We're engagedd in a silent game of "early bird gets the spot" What's really dumb about it is that it's not even the closest or anything. It's just a random spot.
  17. A shot or 2 from Houston. One in particular is appropriate for this site.
  18. I don't go to nearly as many shows as I used to, but MMJ is one band I don't miss when they're in town. Looking forward to Sunday here in Houston
  19. - Cornerback Warren Roberson was also singled out as having an improved spring. Roberson appears more “dialed in”. That's good to see. Maybe we can get him off the special teams units, where he seemingly drew a flag at least once a game.
  20. Why even have a knife at a HS track meet? It doesn't matter, but curious what kind of knife? Pocket knife? Fixed blade?
  21. Kobe. I think Kawhi is better than "just a good player" but he's not particularly close to Kobe.
  22. Was out there yesterday. I haven't been since they moved to Memorial. Course looks fantastic. Uber surcharge for about 20 min was insane. $110 to get from Memorial/Canyon Creek to Montrose? F that.

Winnetka. Wealthy burb about 30 min north of Chicago. I didn't sense anything nefarious with the couple. I think Sheridan has made his point with Alex: Molested by doctors, marginalized by immigration, robbed and beat up, and finger raped all within like 24 hours
  24. Speaking of Kansas... They hit 5 consecutive HR's vs Minnesota on way to a 29-1 win. Jesus. https://www.ncaa.com/news/baseball/article/2025-03-12/kansas-blasts-five-straight-home-runs-vs-minnesota-ties-ncaa-di-record
