  1. I should have clarified/bolded better in my quoted post. I was referring to the Hey Dude shoes. Poncho is great.
  2. I don't know about their rise to popularity, but I worked briefly for a roofing company and all our sales guys wore them. Aged 20-30 ish They've always seemed very "aggy" to me, if that makes sense. Pairing Hey Dudes with some cargo shorts and a maroon magellan shirt....boom there is your stereotypical aggy game day fit.
  3. CBS Sunday morning this morning had an interview with Carl Hiassen, the author. That prompted us to start it. Loving it so far. Agreed with everything posted: Vaughn is a good fit Would Monaghan Would Rosa
  4. Alan Bowman is in that same class too...still playing at OkSt. Jesus
  5. Stafford was interviewed during the game and was asked about young guys...he mentioned "JWhitt" with the catch and that "he's done some nice things" for us. Or something to that effect..
  6. Grady Cavness With his dad and son from a 2009 Chronicle article.
  7. I could've sworn I watched Burton himself, just yesterday, relay that Sark said they were not currently planning on moving anyone to RB. Whatever gets clicks/views I guess.
  8. Minus the syrup, I keep all that stuff in the fridge after opening.
  9. Didn't spend a lot of time in Boise. Saw Phish in the BSU Pavillion. Saw Panic @ Lucky Beach State Park. I lived in Ketchum/Sun Valley after graduation...great skiing/boarding, hiking/biking, rafting, fishing etc..golf. About 2.5 hours due East of Boise.
  10. I've never been, but I have a friend that swears their wings are some of the best restaurtant wings out there.
  11. Question in the above video about coaches saying he's a great football player, but a terrible linebacker. "I knew I wasn't doing it right, but I knew I was gonna do it fast" -Ant Hill Imagine this year when he knows what he's doing...
  12. The aforementioned microwave bacon tray. No real techniques, but my childhood (late 70's and 80's) consisted of a shitload of casseroles and crockpot meals. 3 of my favorites, which surprisingly I haven't tried to re-create as often as I should: King Ranch Chicken Chicken Tetrazini Beef Tips over rice
  13. Seems really clear, what he's saying... Equating success as a band (money/records sold etc) to being a "good" band is regarded.
  14. I actually met him a few weeks ago at a work thing. Nice guy.

    Houston BBQ

Posted in the general bbq thread, but should've posted here. Made it out to Corkscrew in Spring. Got there around 1:00ish maybe a little before and the line took about an hour to get through. Not a fan of their ordering process. Wait in line for an hour, get to the front and place your order, then get a ticket...so you go sit for longer while your order is prepared. We probably waited another 20 min after ordering. I'm a lightweight these days and always get a sliced brisket sandwich. Sandwich was great with a mix of lean/moist. Wife got a "Bob-Bert" sandwich (1/3 meat, pico and green chile ranch) she got chopped brisket, which I tried to advise against, but it was fucking delicious. Potato salad was fantastic, super creamy with a tang. Mac and cheese was solid, but pretty standard. Apple Cobbler we took home and had later that night. Really solid place if you're in the area and have a couple hours to spare. Old Town Spring seems like a neat little place and is just what it sounds like.
  17. It was there in the mid-late 90's and around for longer than a few months. Many a Hand Grenade were consumed. We even bought a pack of Hand grenade mix and turned our home ozarka machine into a dispenser 🤣
  18. Heading out to Spring for something and wanted to stop by Corkscrew. I won't get out there until 12:45/1:00pm...are they going to be out of a bunch of shit by that time?
  19. Looks like I'm a few years behind (and it was recently added to Netflix) but I just started Your Honor with Brian Cranston. Great cast and I'm a sucker for crime dramas
  20. You misspelled 85 years
  21. Just sales shenanigans. We would leave notes for one of the reps to return the call of a prospect Pete Zahut- then the # of a local pizza hut We had a girl call the Houston Zoo asking to "speak with Mr. Lyon"
  22. Hopefully Helobius
