  1. Maybe he was just having 2nd thoughts about buying a $100K Yellow Ram?
  2. Have some friends that know him, so I took interest in it. It's a weird story for sure especially when police said it had the makings of being pre-planned...whatever that means. Not sure what the end game was? Insurance $? Drugs? I'm guessing financial trouble of some sort.
  3. Finished last night. Sheesh, what a series. The acting is so good across the board.
  4. I've told my wife this. Throughout multiple shows. She thinks as long as she's "listening" 🙄 I've given up trying to convince her. And "Fishes" was so anxiety inducing with all the chaos. Jesus, I feel for people that live like that.
  5. No burnt orange offerings, but you can knock both the polo and 1/4 zip out from Peter Millar or Johnnie-O if you're looking for "nice", golf-y type stuff.
  6. I work in the Spring Branch/Memorial area, so luckily not my home store.. I just went to pick up something for lunch... The HEB on Bunker Hill/I-10 is one of the biggest shitshows in Houston. What a fucking mess.
  7. Did this guys ever check back in after this thread? Hope you're ok @The Duke
  8. Where is the Oxygen countdown site? This all seems very futile.
  9. Now that Diaz and McCormick have gone yard, I fully expect Kessinger to be DH and Meyers back in CF for the next game. Thanks Dusty
  10. I mean, what the fuck are they going to do even if they find it? How would you recover something from that depth?
  11. So only #1 picks move you toward winning? That's silly. The whole idea of losing is to get young, talented players. We did that. Now the front office needs to bring in the right vets and some defenders to take the next step, but they're heading in the right direction.
  12. Guess it depends what your definition of worked is. It's been 3 seasons...still too soon to know if tanking worked. Being able to draft young talent like Green, Smith, Eason et al was made possible by losing. Now they've hired a real coach...also brought on by losing. All that being said, if there isn't a marked improvement this year, whatever benchmark that is, then we can say losing/tanking didn't work. Realistically, what does a "successful" 23-24 season look like?
  13. It was like 2 hours of non-stop action/fight scenes Yes, 100%

Yes. It's been our staple tex-tex, since early/mid 00's We see friends we used to pound margaritas with, now going with their teenage kids 😆
  15. That's awesome... We are at La Mex almost every weekend for breakfast/brunch/hangover cures. They should do well over there.

Went to new location last night. It was great. Was able to get seats at the bar. It's a nice buildout. Bartenders were good. Manager lady had huge cans, which was an added bonus. We like Pico's too, we're friends with the owners daughter. Los Tios might be our new regular spot. We usually drive all the way to Tony's on Ella. We're in Montrose, so surrounded by options depending on mood 😆
  18. I love the cognitive dissonance of that place. SEC SEC SEC!! They can't handle the week-in-week-out challenge of an SEC schedule. It's a grind It's a gauntlet It's muderer's row :Schedule Release: Texas got an easy schedule, durrrrrrrrr, durrrrrrrrrr
