  1. Gordon and Westbrook need to stick to getting to the rim and finishing or dishing. EG's shot is fucked. Hell, he was blowing layups last night too. Watching him complain for foul calls EVERY FUCKING TIME he goes to the basket is tiresome. Russ can out-athlete just about everyone on the court if he's 100%. Just need to take better care of the ball. I still have hope, but fuck man, they are frustrating to watch at times.
  2. Game 5 5:30 tip tomorrow w/Russ
  3. This is how I understood it and what I grew up with. I remember as a kid we went somewhere (Ninfa's maybe?) that used cheddar and I was like : I mean it was edible and I'm ok with cheddar now...but i prefer gooey, melty velveeta cheese food.
  4. Molotov cocktail....bag of trash...you know...whatever.
  5. This I get this too For sure this. For me it just seems like a schtick. Like he's just playing a character., overplaying that character. His appearances on Gameday and his appearance on Fallon were so cringey to me.
  6. Man, that is some wicked stuff.
  7. Defense looked like shit. Frustrating game for sure. Dumb passes, dumb shots, dumb fouls. The only person that looked like he gave a shit yesterday was PJ. I guess we'll see how hurt Russell really is...
  8. Was hesitant to watch at first, but really enjoyed it. Michael (I think) was friggin hilarious. Intentional or not.
  9. It just seems to me that every station has a playlist of maybe 150-200 songs and just shuffle it. I've also noticed "Vinyl" and "rewind" inching closer to one another. Keep that soft shit on Classic Rewind. And yes, Roxanne sucks. Rhyme Time it's rhyme time....GTFOH
  10. Probably been mentioned already... Started and finished newest Season of Last Chance U. Change of pace from that douchebag coach from last year. They move out to Oakland, California for this one. Entertaining.
  11. 1990 was the year that also got me into NCAA hoops. I was in high school at the time, but watching the Horns in that tourney was fun. Elite 8 as a 10 seed. Had a T-shirt that said "Come dance with Lance and the Runnin Horns" or something to that effect. Had another with BMW - The ultimate scoring machine. I really loved watching UNLV though. Larry Johnson and Stacey Augmon were incredible. Always hated Duke for whatever reason, lol
  12. Looks like I'll need to give Riel's pop-up sandwich place Louie's a try
  13. The ol "Extra Anchovies" trick....good for him.
  14. Luke Jr...I assume? I thought he was bought out years ago. Lots of people hated him. Dom is a friend and has been running things for a good while now. I'm sure he'll get it back to you if he locates it.
  15. Yes, shade is a must! Their favorite little Italian place is called Pepolino. Also a place called San Carlo Piemonte in SoHo. Went to Lovely Day for Thai. Felix yesterday for brunch/lunch. Edwards (diner-ish) is their regular spot for drinks/hanging out. It's across from the Odeon Actually have really good tex-mex-ish options for brunch (chilaquiles, huevos rancheros) I've tried to get them to go to Khe-Yo, I've heard it's great...but haven't won that battle yet. Like I said, nothing fancy, but good food.
  16. Been up here for a couple of weeks and have been impressed with everyone's mask wearing. I have not been impressed with the heat...fuck, it's hot. We're visiting in-laws that live in Tribeca...and we pretty much stick to their favorites. Nothing fancy really, but solid. Every time we come up we see at least one celebrity. Emily Ratajkowski lives upstairs from their favorite hang out...so got to meet her, her boyfriend and their dog.
  17. 3 hits is fairly aggressive for your first time, lol I know I wouldn't have the cojones to go in that hard. Typically most good/bad acid stories start off with "I don't feel anything" then dosing again. Next thing you know you're sitting on a rock in a field near UNO's Lakefront Arena while your friends are looking for you and calling you. Meanwhile you can't answer your phone because when it lights up it melts into your hand, like liquid lava. Luckily an off-duty cabbie picks you up out of pity, says "We gotta get you outta here, this area aint safe for a white boy to just be hanging around" and takes you back to civilization about 4-5 hours after everyone left. Or so I'm told.
  18. Yeah...we're right down the street too. Wife walked the doggos by this morning and got the scoop from a lady out there filming.
  19. I'm really surprised Julius Whittier hadn't been more prominently featured by the program up to this point. Better late than never I guess.
  20. Started Hightown last night. Its pretty good so far. Crime Drama set in Provincetown Cape Cod/Mass. Lesbian, addict Fish/Marine cop discovers a body washed up by the tide. Small town Cop show ensues..
  21. Whole roasted chicken last night. She usually does a great job with it.. Breaking down the remaining bird after we were finished. Sure enough...giblet bag in the cavity. SMH She said she pulled out a bag...which I suppose is a possibility? Or she pulled the neck out and left the bag. anyway, we didn't die and the bag didn't seem to melt.
  22. Oversharers. People that put all their business out there in person or on social media. STFU...nobody cares
  23. Not at all, they were that mild. The danger of this is the fact that so many people can be asymptomatic or like me, showing very little in the way of symptoms, that they go on with life, unknowingly spreading it.
  24. Wife and I tested positive over the weekend. Happy 4th, right?! We had a very mild version, I guess. No fever. I had like 2 days of body aches, a little cough. She had a little nausea and some congestion. Wife was exposed by a co-worker on the 22nd, so we're on the tail end of our 14 day period. I guess we'll see what this week brings, but according to her Dr. we should be good to go..
  25. I'm probably late to the game and I'm sure it's mentioned pages ago, but Black AF is fucking hilarious.
