  1. I'm guessing this puts Southlake in the lead? https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/bitterly-divided-election-southlake-texas-opponents-anti-racism-education-win-n1266102 Being opposed to anti-racist education makes you, what?
  2. This 7-10 Play-in is fucking regarded.
  3. Nice. That will be a welcome wake up call for the early bird flight
  4. A friend said Sam never even left the airport. he was en route to Indy and basically landed and had to get on a flight back home Mom was in Mexico. I just can't imagine. RIP Jake
  5. Taking my first flight in a year plus next Thursday. Gonna be weird. IAH>EWR
  6. I came in here to post about The Serpent, we started it last night not knowing anything about it. Watched 2 eps and agree with a lot of the stuff posted. Time hopping is annoying Monique is smoke Knippenberg is punchable
  7. That's awesome, I was spared from abortion too. :highfive
  8. Yeah, unfortunately that sounds about right.
  9. Nice. We're heading back up on the 13th. Will be interesting to see the differences from when we were there over the Summer.
  10. I think that's how all stand-by's should work. Steel cage match for the last open seats. They can be held at the nearest terminal restaurant and can be wagered on.
  11. I'm about 95% sure I know the guy you know. We're friends as well. I think it was around that same time. Seemed like they were on/off a a lot, seemingly fighting all the time.. I hung out with one of Brandy's roommates/firends around that time. She could be a handful for sure. And yes finding out she was killed by a kid 20 years younger in an apt in Katy was shocking.
  12. -A friend/acquaintance was murdered in 2014. Brandy Renger..I'm sure some other folks here know her or at least know the name. Graduated from Episcopal in 1993 and went to LSU. Murdered by her 19 year old boyfriend. -The mother of a guy I graduated high school with, was murdered in the Sharpstown area in 2019. She was at home during the middle of the day...and a guy that had been sleeping in his car on their street, knocked on her door and he killed her. Took some money, went to the store and got food and came back to eat in her house. -A friends dad murdered his mom in 2018. They were in their 80's and he had an inoperable brain tumor that probably caused him to lose it. Sad shit, man.
  13. This is good stuff.
  14. My wife used 4 different knives to make her breakfast and lunch just now. You know how I know? They're all still on the counter along with the cutting board.
  15. Urban Decay.
  16. Yes. The Nevers(8pm)>Mare of Eastown(9pm)
  17. Wife and I both tested positive back in July. 2nd dose administered beginning of April. Got the shot that morning. Felt fine all day until bed time. Started getting soreness/aches. Tossed and turned all night, didn't sleep much. Morning after took a couple Tylenol and was fine within an hour.
  18. Remember in Little League, when that one kid would come to bat and your coaches would yell for everyone "Move up/Scoot in everyone.." Kyle Tucker is that kid right now.
  19. Kind of digging this..1st 2 episodes have been pretty good.
  20. Remaining schedule is brutal. I'm afraid some teams toward the end of the year will be resting up their dudes for the playoffs and increasing our chances of winning.

    REK

Being at UT in the early/mid 90's was a great time to be alive. REK was the soundtrack to life at that time. We had him play a rush party we held in Fort Worth. Cory Morrow would come hang out by our pool and play for our "burgers/beer" Hell, we had Jack Ingram play a pledge class mixer.
  22. Little bit like Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and A-Rod had a baby
  23. Greenhouse for sure. I've sat out there both times.
  24. They have valet. I've had 2 great meals there...both lunch/brunch. The hanger steak was one of the better things I've had recently Others thought it was "mediocre at best". I went to Musaafer recently for my sister's birthday. It's a beautiful, ridiculously opulent restaurant in the Galleria..which I guess is why it's so unbelievably expensive. Service was knowledgable but slow. Food was delicious, but I feel like I could get the same food elsewhere for 1/2 the price.
