  1. Watched the first 2 yesterday. Will keep watching. Didn't know Morgan Freeman was in it.
  2. Don't get the Charleston hate either. Went in my early 30's and pretty proud we actually did some cool "grown up" stuff. Handsome cab history tour, open market, couple nice dinners. Of course the rest of the time we did drugs, went to a concert, got shitfaced/sunburned on Folly Beach and went to a crab boil at a friends house. It's good to have a balance of learning something with the dumbshit shenanigans.
  3. Maybe this is common knowledge here, but this is the first I'm hearing about it. In searching for #41's during my time on campus. Came across Mark Super. He was # 41. Googling him brought up some interesting images/stories.. https://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/crime/article243772462.html?fbclid=IwAR3WjXSEDiQBAedltiDF-ySVeLucw_LQc6s6_xCl9IjGf9NG_A0l1xPzc94
  4. I love ski towns in the summer, should be able to get to some around six hours with flight/drive combo if there's no direct flight. I'd 2nd the Seattle rec...you could go into Canada/Vancouver Toronto?
  5. "Which one of those buttons calls your parents to come pick you up?" 😆
  6. Small school football in PA before continuing his education at Texas...which is a very random landing place for a small town kid from Pennsylvania. MA and PHD from Texas
  7. Another favorite whipping boy of this site.. AMDG Jett!
  8. We did this as dumb ass kids (around 12). We were playing the "invisible rope" game in my yard/street. Cop turns the corner and we all scatter. We lived on the next corner, as soon as he turned that corner, I tried to backtrack...he pulled diagonally up into the yard, got out and drew his gun on me. My dad, who was in the garage, comes out to see the commotion and his 12 year old son with his hands on an oak tree and a cop pointing his gun at him. Sure that was neat for him. But to answer your question...no it's not illegal....but yeah, a good way to get shot or at the least a good beatdown. Man, I hadn't thought about that story in 30 years. I didn't think much of it at the time or since, but realize how lucky I was.
  9. They can rename it as many times as they want and I;ll still call it what I always have: "OU" or TX/OU.
  10. A sidenote from all this will be the absolute ass kicking that will be handed down to both those schools come November. That clip should be on a loop in the facility
  11. My Father-in-law gave me a copy last year. Really enjoyed it..
  12. Get her the plastic ones. She has tumblers and thankfully uses those most of the time
  13. Placing wine glasses at the very edge of whatever surface she is placing her drink. coffee table, outdoor patio table, dining table, kitchen counter. I follow her around like she's a 4 year old and move the glasses to a safe spot. without fail once a month or so, I'll hear a crash and a "god damnit!" Me:
  14. "Find the nearest Discount Tire, they'll air em up for free. You don't even have to get out of the car."
  15. I don't think there are any restrictions...as long as you're on the roster. But yeah, it's obviously geared towards rookie/2nd year players and fringe guys trying to showcase. Saw a quote from Jabari and he said something to the effect of his rookie season wasn't perfect and he is taking the opportunity to work on things and get game reps. I like that attitude.
