  1. I think you mean Meyer Lansky who died at Miami Beach in 1983.
  2. Why do you always shit on our players?
  3. We have many incredible players. I value them. So much so, that I am very frustrated when liabilities are not replaced via the transfer portal and our elite players have crap seasons for this reason. I have high hopes for DTD. I wish we had brought in another contributor at LB via the TP.
  4. Card will likely appear to be the better QB from the jump. I hope not...but...I think this is what Sark will do. I will not hesitate to shit on DO. He was terrible last year and will be a liability again this year. Keep praising him. I know that makes you feel better.
  5. I've always assumed Card would start game 1 and QE would play a lot in the 2nd half when the game is out of hand. Then Card would start our unwinnable game 2. Of course, he will look terrible. Anyone would behind our o-line. QE will again play a good bit in the 2nd half when Bama no longer cares and he will look better than Card. QE then starts the rest of the year.
  6. https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2022-nfl-draft-disappointing-college-football-draft-prospects-2021-spencer-rattler-kedon-slovis LB DEMARVION OVERSHOWN, TEXAS Overshown already had a hill to climb as a mold-breaker type of linebacker, as very few 6-foot-4 and 223-pound guys have been able to stick it at linebacker in the NFL. Unsurprisingly, the physicality of playing between the tackles has been an issue for him this season. He’s missed seven tackles on 39 attempts and earned a putrid 43.9 run-defense grade. While his length still plays in coverage, he’d be a liability as a traditional linebacker in the NFL today.
  7. That is a fair assessment. My guess.....I think PK is fired after our road game at Okie State. Then Bitch Tits has the bye week to install his changes to the defense so we can try to rally up and win 3 of our final 4 games so we can qualify for a bowl.
  8. If you had to bet 5K of your own money, yes or no, is PK employed by Texas this time next year?
  9. Are you going to make me watch the Kansas game again?
  10. You are correct...but there is a new energy and a new vibe and a new concept and everyone is buying in and and a fresh take on things with a new spin and rumor is the team is hungry and we have a walk-on white DB who is a coach on the field.
  11. My pussydom knows no bounds. Because of my drinking and the lack of anything else in my life, I do take college football too seriously. I am sorry this offends you. When we lose to crap teams I have a visceral reaction. I shouldn't - but I do. I have tried to even things out by caring about basketball or baseball but nothing happens. I can't make myself care for other college sports. So, I am a totally invested in football to a point where I may not be able to watch if my level of concern would cause me to move from brown liquor to schedule 1 drugs. Now, am I doing this to "fit in" on the internets? If I am, I'm not aware of it.
  12. We are running out a brand new QB with no college starts. He will be behind a line of mostly true freshman, or mostly subpar veterans, or some mixture of the 2. We will also have essentially the same front 7 on D that was completely helpless against Kansas. We will have a new kicker & punter. Does that sound like double digit wins to you?
  13. I hope you are correct. Functionally, last year, Kerstetter was our best o-lineman. I really hope the freshman are contributing in a major way by the OU game this season.
  14. I think Banks will likely start no matter what. I think we all know we aren't going to roll out 5 true freshman to start the season on the o-line. I would have rather picked up a couple of functional 1-year rentals on the o-line to start instead of some of the guys we will be re-starting. With our elite skill position talent, a functional o-line would buy us 2 to 3 more wins from last season. I'm worried if we have a 5 or 6 win season in 2022 that we could lose elite young players like Banks who want to win. That is it. I hope we don't have a losing season and I hope we don't lose any of our top o-line recruits.
  15. Of course. This goes back to a conversation from months ago. I felt (and still feel) that not getting immediate help on both lines via the transfer portal could lead to a disappointing season in 2022 and could lead to losing some of our elite freshman o-line talent. This was previously beat to death, but for some reason, someone wanted to revive it this morning.
  16. I remained concerned that, if we have a disappointing season, we could lose multiple players to the transfer portal. I don't want it to happen but I am concerned.
  17. As good as UTSA is right now, it is still unthinkable to lose that game with the talent we have. This season starts week 4 on the road in Lubbock. I don't think I will be able to watch that game live. I am very concerned.
  18. Jacob Gall, stud o-lineman...Baylor got him in the transfer portal. Siaki Ika, stud d-lineman...Baylor got him in the transfer portal. Sark ignores the transfer portal for linemen. Let's see what happens.
  19. This isn't going to be a great season for us. The odds are against it being a good season. This guy is 100% correct. Buckle up.
  20. You don't have to get the top guys for it to be ineffective either.
