  1. That's probably it. I guess WV fans can be as shitty as our fans. They were ranked 24th and looked pretty good and still only 88% show up.
  2. While this didn't surprise me: This was surprising:
  3. Wimps
  4. I had an Arlo system and the lag in motion detection was the reason I returned it. The 2-3 second delay was severe enough it wouldn't catch the person walking to the camera - only walking away. I followed the steps in this KB article but still didn't help: https://kb.arlo.com/1015583/How-do-I-optimize-motion-detection-for-my-Arlo-Wire-Free-Arlo-Pro-Wire-Free-or-Arlo-Go-camera I ended up returning the whole system. Haven't found anything better yet.
  5. Yeah.....
  6. http://www.kxan.com/news/health/oak-allergy-season-expected-last-longer-this-year/1094644668 Allergists have not-so-welcome news for people who've been sneezing and dealing with itchy or swollen eyes. "I anticipate this will be a long season, and people will suffer for a little more than they did last year," said Dr. Thomas Leath at Allergy Free Austin. He said recent rain has helped clear out the air of oak pollen, but that was just a day or two of relief. "Any count above 300 or 400 is enough to cause people with allergies, symptoms," Leath explained. "So when we hit 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, that's just even worse." On Sunday, the Oak count was 1,583 in Central Texas. According to Leath, we've had high oak pollen counts since mid-March without any significant break. The problem may also be exacerbated by the late cedar season, too. Leath said cedar typically peaks around Christmas, but the worst didn't hit until January. So people may be feeling like they had little to no break between the two seasons. "I got cortisone shots, steroids, to make me better," Austin resident Arnaldo De Jesus Diaz said. He told us he's doing his best to control his symptoms because not going outside at all to avoid pollen isn't an option for him. Leath said wearing a mask when you're outside can help, but, "most people get annoyed by that and don't wear it enough to make a difference," he said. "When you come back inside, do a sinus rinse, flush that pollen out of your nose, maybe take a shower to rinse it out of your hair to lessen that impact," he suggests.
  7. I've done both (i9 and local leagues). i9 is definitely less of a time commitment with practice and the game in the same time block. But I noticed that the kids don't seem to learn as much when practice and games are together and a lot of kids got tired out towards the end of the game. So I've sworn off the i9 leagues (and I was a coach last year) to do the neighborhood leagues instead.

  9. Had a deviated septum and turbinate reduction about a year ago. Helped a good amount. Allows my sinuses to drain better and gunk doesn't get stuck in there. Had more of an effect on reducing sinus infections than reducing allergy symptoms.
  10. Added the Braum's in Hillsboro. Last chance at a Braum's when coming back to Austin
  11. Have you all tried the various nasal rinse/neti pot/navage? I've been using the sinus rinse for a few years. I realized, for myself, that everything I do helps about 10%. Allergy shots help 10%. Allergy drugs help 10%. Nasal rinse helps 10% While it's gross, the sinus rinse is easy and cheap.
  12. Also added Down Unda - jam packed Australian themed convenience store on 281 in Adamsville. Filled with Australian candies, snacks and Aussie meat pies. Friendly people and a fun stop for kids. Small bathrooms
  13. Added Hit the Spot Cafe in Garfield. They share the building with the the Garfield Public Library, so you can wonder around the library and talk with lots of old people.
  14. That makes more sense. The implication that 70% were cancelling their order seemed really high. That 70% are willing to wait is interesting. For those of you willing to wait (besides AeroHorn), what drove your decision?
  15. Anyone have access to WSJ for this article? A summary says only 30% of the Model 3 early depositors are buying the Model 3 when it becomes available to them. That seems really low to me. https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-clock-is-ticking-faster-at-tesla-1522233639
  16. Naming the South Congress corridor as the Brown Line seems appropriate
  17. So much depends on the airline and the seat. In my head, there's a formula: Coach on Middle Eastern airlines > Coach on Asian airlines > Coach on Virgin American > Coach on JetBlue > Coach on Southwest > Coach on American > Coach on regional airlines > Coach on European budget airlines
