  1. Well, we hired him. I'm not entirely sure if he enjoyed his time there or not. He had been at SpaceX a few years prior so he definitely knew what Musk is about.
  2. A co-worker was in management at The Boring Company. For 3 months.
  3. Surely they meant students are going to be taught about "discrepancies" in the 2000, 2016, 2020, and 2024 elections, no?
  4. So a QB is helped by an elite receiver, of which we had only one in 2024? Huh. And before anyone accuses me of saying Ewers = Brady, let me reiterate for the eleventy billionth time that I believe Ewers bears significant responsibility for our inability to get past the semifinals two years running. So do a bunch of other guys, some of whom have a permanent spot on the sideline or in the booth.
  5. He's hoping the trans part doesn't get out.
  6. I know as much about pitching management as my dogs do, but I'd think Harrison 1 and Riojas 3. No idea on 2. We have to find a "Friday" starter.
  7. "We" are the priests of the Temples of Tractors All your "farm" equipment fills our hallowed halls (eh)
  8. I was specifically referring to you implying that he thinks of Ewers as Tom Brady. Let's not get too far over our skis in assessing an inability to deal with criticism of one's position. Again, produce the "receipts" that you claim to have. You continue to fail to do so, likely because you just make shit up to bolster your "arguments".
  9. Question that is apropros of little, but I can't find a "punk" thread: somebody tell me about The Viagra Boys.
  10. Someone else probably has defense-only stats, but I will note that Sagarin has the Texas strength of schedule as #7, and Louisville's as #48. Does that reflect the quality of defense each QB faced? Probably not, but I have no idea in which direction the error is, much less the magnitude.

    2025 ACL

Prices are already through the roof. All 3-days are sold out (both weekends) and Saturday is sold out (both weekends). Aftermarket 1-day tix are roughly as much as the official 3-day tix were. We're out unless some private sales come up at the last minute.
  12. 1.2M in the United States, 7M worldwide
  13. Interesting analysis, thanks. One would think it doesn't tell the whole story, especially since Shough went in round 2 as opposed to round 7. Ewers' tendency to get injured and his lack of pocket presence are likely the biggest differentiators, no?
  14. Could you please stop this bullshit and argue with the guy in good faith?

Ah, that's what I was thinking of.

Good interview. I might be making this up, but I think @Beau Vine lived in the same apartment complex with one of the PJ guys in the early 90's. Confirm?
  17. * and the astonishing recording
  18. Why are you dragging me into this stupid discussion? I assure you that Quinn Ewers didn't throw 80 yards in middle school. Of course, I haven't seen the video to the contrary. It seems to be curiously missing.
  19. No idea, but I expect that the mushroom didn't fall far from the tree.
  20. LOL "oh no a hyperathletic 2-sport 5-star kid who can't yet vote got a bit sassy in a baseball game! This sucks! We look bad!!!". Christ.
  21. Not sure. I know he's begged off some projects recently.
  22. Well, if you talk shit about a guy you probably shouldn't be surprised if he dumps you off his album.
  23. I don't think this team is particularly talented. They were mentally dialed in for the first 2/3 of the season, and now they seem to be in their own heads. If they get back that mojo, I think Omaha is definitely in play. They're still top 3-4 in rankings/RPI. That should help with regional and super matchups, and I think they could move back up in the rankings if they get their shit together against the dirt burglars and in the SEC tournament.
