  1. I’m liking the ‘2 of 3’ category to pick up that extra win also…
  2. That’s my guess as well, which is why a Gabe Davis/Marquis Brown type makes more sense if we go the FA route. I just don’t want to keep putting CJ in the position of having to carry the whole load. I’m a firm believer in BPA in the draft, especially in the first two rounds, but I’m really hoping the BPA in round 1 ends up being a DB (I really like DeJean but would but fine with any of 3-4 guys) or the DT from Illinois. I wouldn’t cry over Coleman but if it ended up being an offensive player I’d prefer them being on the line….
  3. That’s like 5,000 lumens more lighting than in an old school S&A…
  4. Fucking tossup as to which of those towns is a bigger shithole but I’ll give the crown to Monahans because Borger had some hot sluts on their volleyball team like 40 years ago…
  5. He’s fine and assuming Dell comes back healthy he’s a weapon, but there’s a massive drop off beyond that. WR is definitely in need of at least one more quality piece, especially given the lack of a consistent running game…
  6. lol that’s fucking dumb…
  7. Steak & Ale? Was the wait too long at Sambo’s?
  8. Please change title (or maybe subtitle) of thread to “A little bit of Hannah all night long” and post appropriate Lou Bega gif…
  9. If 5/95 was Hader’s price, I’m glad we didn’t sign him. The last 2 years (at least) of that deal are gonna be rough when he’s rolling out there in the 5th…
  10. Awesome; I caught that on the replay as well. He throws his arms up as soon as the ball goes in the air…
  11. I don’t know man; Mahomes has never lost a road playoff game…
  12. Yeah Barnett has been solid and would like to bring him back as well; have to think you could get him at a reasonable rate. Agree on Cashman’s injury tendency, but he’s stellar in coverage when he’s available. If you can get him in the $4-$5MM range that goes above water after year 2 I think he’s worth the gamble. Effort and talent are definitely there….
  13. As are Greenard, Schultz, Cashman, Nelson, and Fant, all of whom need to be resigned…
  14. Of everyone who could realistically be there at #23, the only player I would take over DeJean is Keon Coleman and I don’t believe the mocks that have him available that’s late. I think CDJ would be an absolute baller in this scheme…
  15. The top left Tech stub from September 28th was only our 2nd game of the season; crazy how much later our season used to start compared to now. My freshman year (1985) we played our first game on September 21st; this year, that will be our fourth game…
  16. Seems unlikely it’ll actually go to arbitration; we haven’t had that happen in 24 years, and to your point in baseball terms the difference is nothing….
  17. I know he’s been injured, but Myles Garrett was a non-factor working against LT. Dude gets mad respect everywhere but this thread…
  18. The worst our pick from Cleveland can be now is #24; if Dallas and/or Detroit lose, is would get that many picks better. We will have no lower than #25, so ultimately giving Arizona our #1 instead of Cleveland’s in the draft-day trade to pick Will Anderson ended up being the right move…
  19. It’s the same as people saying large cities are dangerous who never go to one. I’ve been to at least 40 NFL games as a visiting fan over the course of my life and have had zero incidents. Don’t start no shit….
  20. Not sure. Patriots are pretty bare talent wise. Now that Cal McNair has stopped following Jesus Easterby and letting his (apparently very capable) wife call the shots, Carolina has the worst owner in the league. OTOH, whatever you think of Kraft he has to be 100% on board with this, so you’ve got to think Mayo gets more patience with growing pains than he would from any other owner…
  21. So if the victim knew that this ‘routinely’ happened, why the fuck did she decide to get in the car with the obliterated chick driving in the first place? Maybe because she was every bit as fucked up? Drunk or sober, people who drive like assholes determine their own fate. Ain’t that America….
  22. Definitely a risk hiring a HC who’s never even been a coordinator, but he’s been respected as a leader/future coach material since he came into the league, much like DeMeco Ryans. Not the greatest situation for a first timer replacing a dude with six titles; at the same time, it’s probably a better situation to walk into than whoever Carolina hires is going to inherit…
  23. Greenard too; even with him and Anderson hobbled, we need everyone we can roll out there..
  24. Too lazy to look upstream so I’m sure this point has already been made, but if our program gets to where we all want it to be we’re going to be dealing with this shit on an annual basis. You can argue that we shouldn’t be losing someone to a lateral move, but it doesn’t change the fact that if we’re a top 3 program, we’re going to be cycling through position coaches / coordinators every year…
  25. Hey man, it could have been worse - we could have used #3 on Evan Neal. Nobody would have complained at the time, but he’s going to struggle to even make the Giants’ roster next year…
