  1. Joined the Stiv Bators club. Sad.
  2. hmmm....why they be acting like lifting the boil notice is a foregone conclusion? Maybe the samples are shitty and we're boiling til Mardi Gras
  3. Lived next door to a pirate radio station he was involved in back in the late 90s -- at Merrie Lynn off Manor Road. He was getting real weird around then but 911 sent him over, from my perspective. I never personally conversed with him but was with the same crowd a lot. I was pretty pissed off about his "truther" 911 shit and was going to message him, but my friend in close contact with him said....no, NO don't do that...he'll never leave you alone, he'll harass you etc. Seems consistent.
  4. I wish there could be a fault assignment specifically, even if the taxpayer is still on the hook.... To your last point.... and this is not at all directed to you, Lobo....this seems to be a talking point with the gun rights people and I never get it. Every single point along the path is an opportunity to delay or foil the plan, regardless of whether the person would keep trying to get what he wants. So many things can happen in between if that first purchase attempt is unsuccessful, whether through law enforcement, the person's own choices, or other intervention. Seems to me that on so many political issues, people don't acknowledge that there are numbers between 1 and 100.
  5. However, income correlates with education and education also correlates with liberalism, so we're gonna need more from you. Also, proportion of right-wing adopters to proportion of right-wing in population at large.
  6. And the purpose of this false flag Deep State operation was to... stop the certification of Biden? Make the losing side look bad? Makes sense bruh
  7. apropos of not much, my son and I saw some cool "White Lives Matter" and "White People Rock" stickers plastered on the playground equipment at our elementary school park the other day. With BenKlassen.com at the bottom. Awesome times
  8. I can't believe we're going to reelect this person. There's no one better in this state???
  9. Not sure of Barry, but I believe that "Muskrat Love" by Captain & Tenille has been removed due to the risk of influencing further zoonotic diseases
  10. Agree, to me the decision was a no-brainer under separation of powers. I will be interested to see the opinions that come out on the motion for rehearing -- there will be side opinions. Anyway, I was really referring to whether the judges ever start to regret being on team R with all the threats etc. coming from their own team. Again, lol.
  11. these threads are practically unreadable now with Bravo & gang. No contributions of substance, just shit-flinging
  12. I know for a fact that the judges and their staff at the Court of Criminal Appeals have been receiving threats, as they consider the motion for rehearing in the case ruling that AG can't unilaterally prosecute "election fraud." Wonder if it makes any of these Republicans pause and take stock of life choices.... ha ha
  13. yep.... my lil street
  14. Across Burnet from El Mercado, there's a garage behind a pest control and plumbing business on the other side of the gas station. That's 2300.
  15. isn't this the guy who wants Fauci to stop working...no actually, he advocated ambushing him with a kill shot. No consequences. None.
  16. that dog sure looks like he needs a hug
  17. London Grammar.... so talented, but the music can evoke strong depressive emotions. Singer has the voice (and face) of an angel. This one resonates with me personally: edit: damnit, the incredibly evocative video can't be seen anymore for some weird reason. Fucking brilliant song ... here's a live version that seems to take the I-talians aback
  18. This....does not seem good. Ugh
  19. Didn't see a mention of this one: https://www.austintexas.gov/news/homicide-investigation-2300-pasadena-dr Right on the end of my street, walked the dog by there right after and saw all the cop cars and crime scene tape. APD didn't release their "for immediate release!" bulletin until 12 days after the crime, 2 days after the guy died. Suspect unknown, apparently... so good work on the delay. Coincidentally, I also frequently walk my dog through that apartment complex/parking lot at Burnet/Anderson where the double murder happened...starting to wonder if the common link is me. Or my dog....
  20. it's just like a zombie movie, damn
  21. Are you my friend called Larry? Larry told me that people in the jackin' booths would often take all of their clothes off, every last stitch, before getting down to business. Seems unnecessary. Anyway, Pleasureland carried my favorite title ever, the elegantly simple "Sack Lunch."
  22. Holy shit that article about Ginni Thomas. That whole deal is just outrageous. JFC
  23. Serious comment: get KN94's. No appreciable filtering difference from 95's, they have good fit and coverage, and are just a hell of a lot easier to wear. The shape makes breathability way better. It's been our daily go-to for school and no complaints from my kid. Pro tip: get kid's size, in black, and they don't even look ugly or weird. Obviously check to make sure you don't get counterfeits.
  24. Right--I don't think it matters, it'll go red no matter what. They know that, they've thought it through. Olds and rurals everywhere will be able to get their votes in, in sufficient numbers regardless. What's happening unchecked is catastrophic for the majority of Texans who live in urban/suburban places, in terms of having a representative vote.
