  1. For once I'm in agreement with bt. You go in planning to hold everyone accountable for crimes committed by Trump and the Republicans, but if you can use that possibility to leverage real anti-corruption legislation, including an amendment to overturn Citizen's United, then you take the opportunity. Our country will fail, if it hasn't already, if steps aren't taken to hold bad actors accountable. That means setting an example and/or putting mechanisms in place to prevent those actions from taking place in the future.
  2. Some good news: RLC apparently played in our dev squad's friendly today.
  3. The olds clearly don't want socialist bernie to take away their social security and medicare.
  4. I won't wish cancer on him. But I'm happy he already has it.
  5. The problem is that he doesn't care about those great tits, he just cares that she's white.
  6. That type of behavior doesn't drive people to Trump. Racism, hatred, ignorance, greed. Those things drive people to Trump. A couple of talking heads, including a Republican, making fun of Trump and his followers for being ignorant (largely true), is just an excuse used by those who would already vote for Trump to pass the blame for their bad decisions.
  7. Rick Wilson, a bastion of the Democratic Party and the leftist media.
  8. Hi, Pete.
  9. They'll use about an hour actually defending Trump and the remaining 23 they will just read out zerohedge articles and post youtube videos claiming they are evidence that Obama, Hillary, and Biden are the true corrupt politicians.
  10. There were no injuries as a result of the attacks. Twelve service members suffered headaches. Twelve service members suffered brain injury. Thirty-four service members suffered traumatic brain injuries. The fact that anyone believes anything that comes out of this completely corrupt administration astounds me. What type of coward must a person be to willing accept bullshit being fed into their mouths over and over and over again?
  11. Maybe not racial bias, though Brisket is right about disparate impact. But it's definitely sex/gender discrimination if it only applies to males.
  12. I'd like to thank Man U for helping us gain a point on 5th place even though we completely fucked up our past two games.
  13. He's such a pussy ass bitch. He needs to get the fuck out of Texas and go back to Canada.
  14. After watching the game, I sat and tried to think of something he does really well. I couldn't think of anything. He's supposed to be great with the ball at his feet, but even that he managed to fuck up twice during the past two games.
  15. It's also cool how our entire midfield forgot how to be positionally sound on defense and were just running around like they didn't know what the fuck to do.
  16. Yup. I'm not sure there's a worse team in the league at taking or defending corners. I'm pretty sure there's a bigger threat that we give up a goal when we have a corner than the chance that we score a goal.
  17. Ref must not want to call another PK against Arsenal. That's two handballs and a foul in the box that have gone uncalled. The last handball was blatant.
  18. No, I'm pretty sure I'm right. Your statements in this thread provide that evidence. It's like when EMAW says circumstantial evidence isn't admissible. He may not know that he's completely wrong, but everyone else does.
  19. Well that was glorious.
  20. Based upon this statement, I'm going to go ahead and say that you don't even know what the proposed law does.
  21. It's because Morton denied it? Lol. It's because Morton is white. People of color are disproportionately more likely to get the death penalty than white people. Another reason why the death penalty should not be permitted. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk
  22. I could not be more wrong . . . except for all the evidence you've provided in this thread that I'm correct. You can say that you value due process and proof beyond a reasonable doubt, but when it comes to discussing their implementation you make clear that you disagree with them and would prefer a system without them. You don't get to describe a system that lacks due process and other structures that are designed to protect life and liberty and then just tack on that "but they would be protected." In short, your claims that you value due process, the burden of proof, and other Constitutional structures that are designed to protect life and liberty are bullshit.
