Not sure if he's more important than LBs, but I am placing a pretty heavy bet on him providing some strong production. I have high hopes. And almost as high hope that Wilbon will break out just some of how Chris Nelson did as a Senior. Having a strong interior line can make a huge difference in football, and our defenses with Poona, Hassan, Malcom, and to a lesser degree Nelson last year, were all so much better for it.
I just looked up the Big 12 championship game last night to remind myself how we lost that game, and I forgot about Kris Boyd's 3 penalties (2 face mask and 1 interference I think) in the first half. He also saved a TD (that if IIRC they were only in position bc of his mistakes anyway), but I could do without his boom or bust play and would love Cook and Green to bring us back to just a solid, high-level floor with some big play ability. I don't even care if they only pick off only one or two passes each this year, just be solid.
And don't get me started on Breckyn Hager. There's no damn way Graham isn't at LEAST matching the production a senior Hager brought last year.
