  1. Right. Which is why I need one. I drive past Rollingwood PD every day on my way home, and now that temps are no longer on, I'm Thx. They recommend these two, but then they both have a ton of bad reviews. May be user error. I'll give the Platypus a shot.
  2. May not be best thread for this, but any recommendations for no drill front license plate mounts for Panamera? It’s unclear to me whether the two I’ve found (platypus and carbonio) will work with sensors, cameras etc. And they are expensive.
  3. Just watched it. It was dope. The deeper stuff is cool and all but it was flat out entertaining and unique on its own.
  4. I didn't play the game, but saw a side by side this morning of first episode compared to game. That shot of "Interstate 183" with the San Marcos and Austin signs is pulled straight from the game. So any inconsistencies with signage, etc. is just pulled from the game. But we didn't see them take a dump either, so you know.... unrealistic.
  5. Yeah. It was a mess. It was The Boys without superpowers fight Nazis. I’ll still watch this I think.
  6. Yeah so I watched it and it was fine, but… It seemed like every episode had scenes like: ”I need you to do this” “I can’t” ”But people are going to die” ”If I must…”

I don’t get the Haji Wright hate. He was bad when he came on against Iran. Totally get it. But he played well against England and has been having a really good year in a pretty good league. Yeah, there may be 3-4 strikers available better than him but he’s still under 25. If he gets a shot at Prem, bully for him. Brentford seems like a good spot.
  8. Agreed. And if ESPN could please hold off on the F1 races until I get to watch Drive to Survive, I'd appreciate it. And while we're at it, fucking news channels, please stop talking about the Idaho killer until we get the Dateline NBC episode, the podcast, and the Netflix series. I mean, spoilers, geez.
  9. I always wonder why refs don’t lose it more when ganged up on by players. I mean outside Latam/Eastern Europe lower divisions are the players really going to do anything? I think refs are judged by their ability to calmly walk away when ganged up on. My inclination would be to go MLB ump on them and say “get the fuck out of my face or get carded.” FIFA/UEFA don’t want that though. Frankly the weird gamesmanship in soccer always puzzles me. Hard foul. Ref starts walking toward it. Non-involved player of fouled teammate starts screaming, non-involved teammate of fouling player grabs shoulder of other guy and talks to him then talks to Ref. Somebody invariably puts hands together as if they are praying looking desperate. Third guy walks up to guy on other team and says something and the conversation is almost as if they are teammates. it’s always been weird to me and I wish they’d mic it up like the NFL.
  10. This is Nebraska Florida 1996, ultimately, except people thought Florida could win that game. Notwithstanding talent where there was already a huge gap, Georgia’s offensive scheme is a horrible matchup for TCU’s defense more than others. Matchups are real. Texas beat Georgia largely because Texas that year was horrible defending misdirection and spread offenses and Georgia was pro style and down the middle. We won. That Georgia offense was a great matchup for our defense. Still, TCU got gigged early and didn’t wake up. As well as they were prepared for Michigan, they were just happy to be there for Georgia and that’s on Dykes and his staff. I was thinking 38-13 or something like that. And I think most of the time when the avalanche/snowball effect of championship momentum isn’t coming into play, that’s probably the right score between these teams. Still a huge gap.
  11. Did Yellow, Green, Violet now about to start Blue. So clearly none of those first three I watched should be your last episode so yeah it works but those would all be anticlimactic. There are already times where I think “I wish I didn’t know about that yet, I should have done it in another order” but I imagine that happens no matter what.
  12. Hmmmm…….. if they eliminated tenure at UT law 20 years ago I presume Lino Graglia’s racist/sexist ass would have been fired for some of the shit he said. No, they’d probably fire Sandy Levinson for thoughtfully, but academically, questioning the efficacy of the mechanics of the constitution.
  13. My guess is that given what Coventry tried to do and how late it is in the Cup, Sheffield won’t be rotating squad too much either.
  14. They are trying too hard. 1. The game should have been cancelled and not counted so Bengals and Bills only have 16 games. 2. Let everything play out by winning percentage. This is so stupid.
  15. Fuck no. But given that chant would be funny if we did get Oats.
  16. I am not sifting through 52 pages to see reasons why not but this Nate Oats guy seems pretty fucking good. And that’s not just because they are smoking Kentucky by 30 right now. I mean, that’s top of mind, but still. Prefer him to Musselman.
  17. So is it Burnley next or do they redraw each round? Coventry is middle table Championship. Not bad. Not bad at all.
  18. If Gaetz, Gosar, and Rosendale shiv McCarthy here (although I doubt they do), and the concessions are as bad as we believe, do moderates make a last ditch effort?
  19. This. It’s so fucking transparent and stupid. Fuck that guy.
  20. God I hope they can’t pass the rules.
  21. They are chickenshit they will get primaried. Or at least a large enough percentage of them are. It’s this huge catch 22. Many of the non HFC republicans are more likely to win the general than the primary and they can’t get to the general without winning the primary. And the crazies do one thing well - vote in primaries. So stand up now and show your whole district you are a moderate but give the MAGAs, who will put up a Cawthorn/Boebert type, the opportunity to primary you as a “traitor”.
  22. Thanks for all of this. I have a friend that is a home builder (though not a GC) coming in as I have meetings in town I can’t miss and my wife (who is recovering from surgery) is likely to murder everyone involved, and I don’t need to deal with APD on top of this. We haven’t called Servpro yet but have planned to today. Generally, I think this contractor has been honest. I’ve audited his invoices pretty carefully and where I’ve questioned, he either has receipts or has worked with me. He’s just extremely inexperienced, relies way too much on us to catch his subs’ mistakes (which has been by far my biggest complaint), and horrible at estimating how long something is going to take.
  23. Thanks. I think ultimately it will come down to whether the pipe that is leaking is one of the ones they touched or not. He responded that me that if it’s his plumbers work they will fix it so I have that in writing.
