  1. There is no plot twist or surprises in the show. It’s upfront all the way from the onset.
  2. Adolescence was excellent, definitely a sad watch. The premise was iffy, no kid is going to stab a girl because he watches Andrew Tate and the weak points of the show are when it tried to shove that criticism in. In fairness the show doesn’t say that was the actual reason for the crime, he was just a kid with anger issues that was upset he got disrespected. The whole manosphere/incel/red pill online stuff had nothing to do with it and it was weird the show focused on that at times. In episode 3 he even says he saw some videos but didn’t like them.
  3. The majority of teams have at least one player using these bats already. Moron.
  4. Practice squad players clear at minimum $220k a year if they last the entire season. The median yearly earnings for a person in America is roughly $65k. It’s a really good fucking job if you can get it.
  5. I literally posted nothing wrong. Practice squad players don’t travel with the team and actually aren’t even allowed on the sidelines at home games. Your workweek is just Monday-Friday and you’re making good money playing football still.
  6. Not really. You’re doing everything the starter is without the glory. You have to be ready at a moment’s notice. The best job is practice squad player. You only work Monday-Friday, and you don’t travel.
  7. You’re giving up power when you choke up. With this design you could choke up and not lose power.

  9. I watched Volpe roll over enough grounders to third last year to know he was hitting the ball onthe label. It was easy to see the shape of his bat and know what was up. And the bats were not some big secret either, other players on other teams had them for training last season but only the Yankees had the balls to break them out for a game.
  10. You might not have gotten it. Everyone else of at least average intelligence understood what was going on after taking one look at the bat. It’s just no one knew it was within the rules until the yankee analytics guy studied the rule book and figured it out. The bat design is actually over a year old and was used last spring training. This is just the first time people used it in real games.
  11. Looking into the numbers more, the majority of the yankee homers actually came from players not using the bats. Volpe, who was basically patient zero for the bat, hit .167 for the series (although with 2 homers). Elly De La Cruz’s big night last night in his first game with the bat made headlines but it could be just him going off because he’s really good. Basically, the biggest advantage is that you can choke up on the bat and still swing for power. But it really mostly helps players prone to hitting the ball near the label like Volpe was. Which is why players who didn’t have that problem aren’t using the bats (yet). Will be an interesting thing to track this season.
  12. Anthony Volpe being a shitty hitter started a domino effect that might have changed the sport forever. That’s wild.
  13. This is no counter to it. It fundamentally makes the bat easier to swing. The Yankees broke these out for several hitters and then scored the most runs and homers over a 3 game stretch in team history. The Brewers had no answer. Interestingly enough, Judge is not using the bat and still hit 4 homers in the opening series, another Yankee record. So one does have to wonder if this is all inflated by what could be a very shitty Brewers pitching staff.
  14. Yeah, my “power” is really going to help this team win in the FF. Haven’t watched us play but I know Aaliyah Chavez must have passed on playing for us for a good reason. That’s all I need to know.

  16. I just cannot believe it took this long for someone to think of that.
  17. More than just hometown homerism, this kid is legit and was the first freshman to play for our varsity in decades. You heard it here first, he’ll be a big time recruit soon.
  18. Barnes team getting fucking destroyed in March? Color me shocked
  19. Saved me from having to see whatever dodger thing I’m sure is in that link. I think that’s a positive.
  20. Lol. 28 years old and he’s fucking washed already. There’s no slow decline in baseball anymore, dudes just fall of a cliff out of nowhere usually.
  21. I shouldn’t have called you a retard, I’m sorry. Unless you actually follow barstoolkfc. In which case I am not, and I re-affirm my stance.
  22. Do you believe every bullshit clickbait you see online? This guy is blatantly lying and should be sued for libel. Three hitters in the Yankees lineup use that kind of bat. Volpe, Wells, Jazz. No one else does. Look at pics of Judge’s bat, of Goldys bat. They are normal. You’re a retard.
  23. Holy shit. How did Tech lose? It was a blowout with like 4 minutes left
  24. Florida went over 6 minutes without a FG. Tech was clanking 5 foot shots left and right. It was terrible basketball
