  1. Dad was a roommate with David McWilliams for a semester or two. They always reflected on “practice” being tougher than their upcoming opponent. Hook’em!!!
  2. Nobis - damn mowing the yard in the SA heat! Hook’em!!!
  3. Notice that he doesn’t have a “Cheesecake Factory” menu in his hand. Hook’em!!!
  4. Great job mentoring the youngsters Coach Price! RIP to him and his family. Hookem!!!
  5. My Dad played (at practice) with Scott Appleton and he, along with Noblis, we’re men vs boys - very physical even in practice. Yes, we’re talking “practice!” Hook’em!!!
  6. That’s just sad for the Price family. RIP Coach! Hook’em!!!
  7. Hang a M’fng banner at Kroger Field! Hook’em!!!
  8. “Generational Morons” they are! Let’s see a loss here and a win there, therefore we’re the Champs! Hook’em!!!
  9. I think Traylor’s daughter played volleyball at aggy or still does, so they know of him, let alone his recent success at UTSA. His hire would bring the TXHSFB coaches back, after the “King @ QB debacle.” In aggy terms “They done F’d up the situation.” Hook’em!!!
  10. Just reflect and always remember that the lineage of aggy, is and always will be, “Generational Morons”. Hook’em!!!
  11. Thanks for the Herminator reminder! Hook’em!!!
  12. I’m still waiting on the SEC dictating the McNeese State or UIW that we have to play during the SEC “week off” in November. Hook’em!!!
  13. That would’ve been awesome- on drugs or not. Hook’em!!!
  14. Billy has to keep that $$$ rolling in somehow, now that the government has stopped giving out free money to small businesses. Hook’em!!!
  15. If I’m not mistaken ‘77 was the year, with Earl, that we were undefeated going into the Cotton Bowl, but the loss kept us from winning the NC. I had a coffee mug, which I still had for decades, that had ‘77 on it and undefeated, that I bought for my Dad for Christmas on a school shopping trip in Dallas. I didn’t know he didn’t drink coffee, so he gave it to me as a pen/pencil holder for my desk at home. Hook’em!!!
  16. Brad too! 77 before K Sims. Hook’em!!!
  17. K Sims was one of my favorite Longhorns as a youngster. I had a T-shirt made at Rooster’s with 77 on it because of him and that I was 7. He was a very large, but approachable guy, to the few kids after practice. Hook’em!!!
  18. The fact that we play “at aggy” brings our Strength of Schedule down for 2024. Eat that fact shit heads (aggy)! Hook’em!!!
  19. The Longhorns’ first National Championship, in football, was versus the Naval Academy in 1963. Hook’em!!!
  20. When WSU played in the Valero Alamo Bowl! My son holding the sign I made. Hook’em!!!
  21. My Dad loves him some TX HS FB playoffs! He still goes all around greater-Houston during the first 2-3 rounds of the playoffs, as long as it doesn’t conflict with watching his Katy Tigers. He’ll go watch a half of one game, then drive to watch the 2nd of another. He works the press box for Katy ISD during the regular season, but he’s done when the playoffs start. He will even drive to Beaumont to watch a playoff game. Hook’em!!!
  22. Yes - but of course “gravity” has taken its toll on my Dad (now 81), but he was an OL/DL in the early ‘60s. He still wears his “T Ring” daily, which is on his left hand with J Whit. JW was more excited that my Dad had seen him play in HS and that’s what they talked about pre/post picture- Dad knew he’d be a Home Run for the Horns!! We’re all rooting for a great last season with him and hope he can really break through and go get it the NFL! Hook’em!!!
  23. Well - we’re waiting, as it’s after 6!! Hook’em!!!
  24. No shit - game should’ve started NLT than 11 or 12 CST in Hattiesburg. Hook’em!!!
